Bilbo Baggins try’s on a normal human shirt
Welcome back!
very insightful clip
Are Manchester City contenders for the Premier League title?
Interesting to see what de bryune doing after injury 😂
These idiots will never give CDMs their due for they know that if CDMs are prized properly it would kill the Atheltic as a channel. Nobody will watch their trash.
Nunes was in limbo
Well, that's why the treble winning team was the best team in recent years
Every player had equal contribution were needed to perform specific roles
Like Grealish creating space for Kdb
Bernardo being unpredictable on the right
Gundogan joining Midfield to attack
Everyone thought only Haaland scoring is bad until teams started marking only him and that led to City winning the semis and finals of UCL
Is that Alex bezhinga? Looks neat.
noons
The only reason why this doesnt work anymore even with John Stones fully fit, is the absence of a player like Walker that would help in the defensive transitions with his physical appearance.
Matheus Nunsch
Because they didnt have both dm fit?
Because their midfielders aren’t good anymore and their outside backs aren’t as strong defensively. When you take gvardiol and make him a CB you took away the strength you used to have at left back, even if he is a good CB.
My God! How many Guardiola videos?!
Alex please put the glasses back on. It's such a signature part of your look
Basically evidence of how important walker was to pep. His pace and defencive ability in a 1v1 / 2v1 allowed them to commit more players forward.
Not really a issue with stones but woth nunes
Alex Barker going for the handsome approach to being a regular on the Tifo Football Podcast
No Rodri (now Nico) no party
barker the omen is back!!!
Evil Alex Barker
Alex Barker with the glow up, damn
Nunes isn't a natural defender. Of course it had to back fire
City had Kyle walker to run back even though Nunes is extremely fast he is awful at 1v1s
Every game missed: Rodri shows how important he is/was to this team
Pep is crazy for experimenting at this stage of the season
Noons?
Only Athletic can somehow spin Man City lost as some minor mistakes.
When United lost, they did a whole 20 mins video talking about how we shot long balls outside the box meanwhile other teams have the same percentage as us. The agenda is stupid. Imagine anyone paying for this garbage news
This is the type of analysis I love to watch
Nunes is a midfielder, he'll always have problems with positioning at RB
So fascinating how little details like Nunes being hesitant to press his man can be the difference in a match being won, or points being dropped in this league.
Seems more like nunes is the problem. Ever since walker left city have been lacking a right back.
Still don't understand what a player like Nunes is doing at City. Do they not have enough money to sign a player who suits the position?
No kdb that’s what I’ll tell you
Nunez? Wtf is Noon
It increasingly seems like any team that intends to press specially man to man, has to have young athletic and pacy players to be able to compete!
If one player falls short, the pressing structure is passed through and you’re being hit with a fast counterattack!
Liverpool paid dearly when they lost 7-2 at Villa park when they played a high line and pressed high, but weren’t at 100% effectiveness, so Villa midfield just lobbed the ball behind Liverpool back 4 time and time again and Trent and Gomez were cooked!!
When did de bruyne join the Athletic 😂
Teams know how to defend against it now, just block out the middle and park the bus and city were missing the players that could've plugged the holes in the system so villa were well optimized to beat city
Madrid did the same thing in 23/24
unfortunately they don't have the pace of Kyle Walker anymore, the same way Calafiori and MLS have freedom to go wherever they want because of Saliba's pace/ composer and Gabriel and timbers Solidity in Defence
Bought the way to the treb
The treble
Where did your glassesgo😢
and they still lost man shitty
Now, I wonder if we can trust what data the Athletic presents.
Shows how overrated that treble team is
Matheus "Noons" 👁️👄👁️
It did work for major of the the game it was in our favour, just that one goal that came out of no where
Hope Pep has learnt that Tijani can't work as a Pivot 😂😂😂
Just play Nico or Kavin
