Frank came in and calmly identified a number of solvable problems. He has made us a tighter team, better at defending set pieces, better at attacking set pieces and given the team structure which makes it easier to slot in players and rotate. Can’t believe how some so called fans couldn’t see this. COYS
VDV might get all the plaudits by i thought Danso once again was very good. I love the fact he has no fuss surrounding him and just gets on with it. This game was made for him as Everton spammed crosses in and the majority of the time, it was Danso heading it clear. Also thats one of the best defensive games i have seen from Porro in a while up against Grealish, im not saying he was amazing but he didn't do anything stupid or get rinsed which is always a plus for someone so weak defensively as Porro. My one negative was Spence. He didn't have a bad game by any stretch, but when he keeps cutting it back on his stronger foot is nullifying some attacks. All in all though, a solid professional display at a tough ground to go to.
I don't understand the negative comments, Arsenal play like this every season they are top!!
