De ligt is literally playing the Martinez role of performing last ditch tackles for goals that are close calls without his presence. Dude even progresses the ball at a high level for a Defender.

The only reasoning I ever hear about de ligt not getting called up is because he is allegedly 'crap'.
However I have not heard or seen one comment proving that he is a bad cb, on the contrary the statistics, his playing style and ariel duel win percentage all point towards the fact he is firstly the best current Dutch cb and secondly one of the most in form centre cbs in Europe.
So the reason people are so hell-bent on slating him is because of there agenda against Manchester United not his ability.
Even when he was at bayern and Eric dier was getting played over him, people insisted he was still that genarational cb from juventus and ajax.
So I implore anyone to prove to me that deligt is infact the so-called 'Crap' centre backs many claim him to be.
