Aston Villa play a 4-2-3-1 formation which seems to be working wonders at the moment. it can also easily change to a 4-3-3 depending on how the opposition set up.
I believe that with our current squad that we have this would suit us down to the ground. It would ensure being very tight at the back and we could be more explosive going forward with Maitland-Niles and Tierney linking up well with Lacazette and Saka. You could even inter change and swap Saka and Lacazette at times as they could both cut inside onto their stronger foot to shoot.
I believe with these players it would work perfectly at this stage of Artetaโs process.
