They should go for both…. if they sell Zouma, Christensen and Rudiger for around £25 to £30 million each that’s about £70 million give or take…. thats the money needed to get in the Napoli man, and Rice won’t cost over £50million. Yes it’s crazy to sell 3 for 1 but remember We have Tomori in the wings waiting, eventually in time, those players will have to be sold. Why not now, just imagine the things Rice, Ethan and Tomori could learn under a top top top top, player like Koulibaly

Koulibaly would be a dream signing and would fix most of our issues in defending set pieces and would calm the backline down
Choosing rice over koulibaly will be the biggest mistake! Rice is promising but he’s not good enough for Chelsea also we already have Ampadu. Just because koulibaly is 29 doesn’t mean we can get the best out of him ! He can probably play up to 34 or 35 then we will look back on what a signing he was. We can’t make this mistake on not going out and signing koulibaly in a chelsea team which lacks certainty and leaders at the back.
CB market is inflated plus most are at the same level as our 4 current CB's so I understand why we don't have any concrete leaks with any CB's
why are English player favoured by frank . tammy cannot help you in a tight game where you win by 1- 0 margin .he is an average striker for midtable teams .BARKLEY is overrated . Mount can improve . Reece is like Alonzo .. both CBs should be sold Rudiger can be rotational. .

I think Chelsea should swap Jorginho for De Lit and send Tomori and Barkley to Westham for Declan Rice also send Hudson Odoi to Leverkusen on loan to reduce the price

If Declan rice is signed we can try both Declan and ampadu at both cb and CDM and grow them as there is 2 or 3 seasons for kante at top form

sign Havertz or Sancho ( generational players)
sign Telles ( left-back, tall)
sign Gabriel ( young left-footed center back)
we need these specific players so we aren't left vulnerable during set-pieces and so our overall play is top class.

koulibaly is on the older side and not worth that investment at the moment.

Why is christensen not getting any stick the guy is not good enough .. as a defender you have an ability to smelll danger he has none of that.. he never gives tactical fouls away for the greater good of the team , and gets bullied by even the smallest forwards.. the lad is finished flog him now

Been saying it for quite a whilst now, sell christiansen and rudiger, bring back ampadu and get a commanding experience cb. While I like the idea of Declan rice at cb I think it's a risk we cant really take, we need someone who knows that roll inside out and will drag up and inspire who ever is partnered with him. If we had a leader at cb then yes I'd go all out for rice but I just dont think we can risk this at this point in time.

To play as a defender at Chelsea’s, you would have to be a better than average defender. However, these defenders are producing less than average results week in week out. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging! Reoccurring defensive errors point to poor defensive training. Why not get a proven defensive coach?
