Liverpool need at least one all-round midfielder. In other words, they need the ‘next Gini Wijnaldum’ whose versatility, especially in his prime, was perhaps taken for granted.
Mark Magill explains why Liverpool may have finally found their man.

If we sign Koopminers that will mean Klopp assistant Pep is the one that does transfers and not the manager himself

We are signing Darius Noone 🙄
We need at least 3 CMs, none of the current squad are good enough anymore. Probably need 5 in rotation. Would love Bellingham, but seems pointless surrounding him with dross if he blows the transfer budget for 5 years.
If we signed him then Klopp doesn't have the power of having a say on transfers than Pep Lijnders does.
How come assistant manager having more power than manager himself is problem itself.
Why are all the players we are linked with are like liked by pep is he the manager now or am I missing something?
