Love Tripps me and actually still think he's quite underrated, we've kept the most cleansheets in the league so far this season and he's played a massive part in that and for me we've got 2 of the best right backs in the league but they never really get mentioned in that conversation
It was one of the best pickups Newcastle has made. Great team player, a great player, and a great captain. One day, he might even make a great manager. I can see him having a great time doing that post retirement.
He may have only been here for a few years but he has achieved club legend status in that time. Hope he stays on after he hangs up his boots. He's already a great ambassador for the club & think he would be a great coach too.
I saw Trippier in Aspers once, not long after we signed him and asked if I could get a picture. He gave his mate my phone to take the picture. I said thanks and all that, when I got back to my seat I had a look and I had 10 seflies from his mate and 1 blurry picture of me and Trips 😂
Tripps has been the most important player signing since the takeover. He’s a tone setter, a leader, and an incredibly intelligent footballer. He is a natural leader and I hope he finishes his career here. His game doesn’t rely on athleticism and he can contribute in the squad as long as he wants for me. I’d like to hope he wants to coach and would LOVE to see him do his badges and get involved with the academy if he’s settled here. Every time he has put on that shirt he understands the responsibility and ensures everyone else is at the level. He is just absolutely class.
His cousin Paul was my back 2 back offshore, told his Paul when he was leaving Spurs that he would go to Madrid Paul's a Newton Heath fan and he was saying he's going to Newton Heath 😂😂 then when he was about to leave Atletico I was saying to Paul he's coming to the Toon lad, Paul still believed he was going to sign for Newton Heath but Kieron chose the bigger club 😂😂
