Today we’re doing a deep-dive of the highly coveted talents of Enzo Fernandez. The 21 year old Argentinian made big waves at the World Cup, winning the tournament and picking up the best young player award.
So just what does Enzo bring to the table offensively and defensively? Could he become one of the best midfielders in the world? And with plenty of Premier League clubs reportedly interested, including Chelsea and Liverpool, what kind of environment would he need to succeed?
It should be a fun one 🙂

enzo remind me of pedri
Enzo reminds me Xavi or Pirlo on the way of playing
i want to be like fernandez
I think you are undermining some phases of his game, for example his passing, he does have similar numbers as Kroos or Kimmich when it comes to progression, even when it comes to accuracy, and on every type of pass, the fact you find specific clips with inaccuracies may also have to do with how fast he is required to make those long passes due to Benfica's system and reliance on him to do that and do it quick to make the most use of space. I do agree freedom is the key to make the best use of him, but he can be very good without it too, 70% of the time he played for argentina he was the only number 5, and when Argentina lefts spaces it was because of Mac Allister and De paul being exausted (Proven when Scaloni swapped em both vs france and Netherlands, and Argentina got back to dominating, with enzo as an 8 getting to the box and creating loads of chances). As I said your analisis is interesting but too centered on his role at benfica, he can do great on every position and I don't think many other young players can adapt the way he does, he became an instant star in 4 teams in 2 years, so there is more versatility in his game than what you're aluding too. Lastly, you say his tecnique is not "world class", which is really weird since his first touch is excellent, and last time I checked mason mount has amazing technique and he is still not really that good overall because once spaces close he is extremely predictable. For Enzo his vision is what sets him apart from the rest, its above any other young player that we may commonly know of by a big margin. He is always a passing option for his team mates because of his reading of the game, even on the final third, and he is extremely good at finding space on very advanced areas, even through long passes. All I've said you can basically back up by watching him play full games and looking at his stats, which to me makes it crazy you wouldn't see his potential to be world class, since he literally already is world class at so many phases of midfield play.
he is 21 so he can get better, I think Liverpool and Real Madrid are perfect teams for him, is he worth 100 million euros? Yes, is he worth 120 million euros? no
btw please do a Mac Allister one, for me he is better than Enzo and he is very versatile as well
Bellingham, Pedri, De Jong, Gavi, and Gakpo would be interesting videos as well
Vuela tsss tsss tsss tsss
Please analyze Ozzadine Ounahi, he is better than Enzo and Napoli are supposedly buying him for around 15M
I think he has potential but its never good to make World Cup signings imo
make a video on gvardiol/fresneda- and which team they'll suit
Not worth 100+ mil, precisely what I've been saying. No denying his talent or potential of course. But these valuations are just ridiculous.
As a Barça fan it pains me to say: you should make more diverse football videos. You are a top channel, but only have 42k subs. I think it would be more beneficial if you sticked to the more popular topics in football
It would be lovely if you did a video on Ferran Torres. He has potential, so it is hard to see him struggle so much.
Please cover Pedro porro
What team would be a great fit for his play style on the top lvl?
If I ever saw a more flawless 21 year old is this guy. His only "weaknesses" are his aerial ability and his over aggression which are minor things that can be improved. Every other hype job that worth 100million+ lack something that cannot be taught, vision & creativity, which Enzo has an over abundance off and also intangibles that are very rare, calmness mixed with fearlessness/aggression. This kid is special.
Clearly suited to Real Madrid or Liverpool, especially the former.
He would be perfect at arsenal as a rotation option for xhakha – price is way to high though
Mentioning De Jong and how he also needs another player to play with, as double pivot, if Enzo were to move to Barca, these two could create such tandem.
It's just that in that case one of Pedri and Gavi would have to be moved to the bench. All 4 of these guys are word class in the making(or already).
Amazing video, him and Frenkie are definitely similar. Also this video makes me think a double pivot with Frenkie and Jessie would work for us
Can you do a video on Frenkie please❤️
Great analysis channel.
I watch enough to repeatedly show up.
Only don’t subscribe because this is a team focused channel.
Keep it up boss man.

This was very accurate. I'm Argentinian, we tend to hype everyone a lot – which I really hate, tbh. Enzo is a great player and has a strong mentality. Obviously there is a lot in his game that can be improved. But as you said, his most crucial trait is that he can do so many things very good without excelling in any of them. We should not forget he is only 21 years old, so he will improve in the future, that's for sure. That being said, I really don't think he is worth 120 million, that seems a lot to me right now. He's been a top class player for the last few months, but he still has to prove that he can have consistency. So, playing UCL one more season for Benfica is the right move.
A midfielder from Argentina who looks more evolved and more mature and plays with more consistency is MacAllister – I think he is ready for a big break. Enzo needs to be patient and play some more for Benfica.
Very good. One thing to add is that Enzo has (outside river) basically played teams that don't press very high or intensely .The only very high pressing team Enzo has played against was Porto. And in the 45 min he played he got a yellow card, could have gotten a red and was a total void in the game. I think for him to go to the Prem right now would be a mistake, as for what i've seen he doesn't handle pressure very well.
Great analysis as always. I learn so much from you.
I love how he steals the ball (other than the obvious benefits, it completely messes with opponents)
