Note that he wasnt deemed innocent at all. There just wasnt sufficient evidence. Which is VERY often the case as its just one victims word against one accused. There is a significantly higher probability that he did do it than that he didnt as false accusations of r*pe are quite rare compared to how often they sadly are real. Its just often rly hard to prove.
