I was at this game as an Orlando fan. This was an absolute heartbreaker, but I can’t even be mad because he’s a legend of the game. Ggs :/
What made this work was that Muller had the ball in a similar position at the top of the box multiple times during the game and had always looked for the pass. So the defenders naturally moved to block any passing lanes, leaving him a small opening directly on goal.
