Just give it to Duncan he’s been at the club with all the managers that has lost their jobs, he knows what needs to be done he knows all the players I don’t understand why their looking at a new manager that could potentially drop us down a division. Duncan knows everything that has happened at club he knows where the club wants to go. If Duncan dosnt get it I would be pissed if I where him.
Correct me if I’m wrong but until clubs / leagues as a whole change the way manager contracts are agreed ie: when a manager pick any that has recently been sacked over the past 5 yrs or so can sign a 3-5 yr contract at whatever million dollar a yr contract is agreed, under perform get sacked receive the remaining money owed then potentially pickup another long term contract with similar conditions what incentive do they really have to do the best for said club. They just get rewarded and become richer for mediocrity. What should happen in my opinion is this. Fine any remaining monies should be paid but on a monthly basis going forward for the remaining time of said contract but the moment they except a new contract with another club all previous contract payments cease with the previous club. Alternatively make contracts and this could also be done with players based on a minimum weekly wage then bonuses based on ladder position at seasons end and from a players side of things games played. This way everyone within the team would be giving %110 every game to get a bigger pay years end. Rant over ⚽️👍🏻 I know this will never happen but surely would make things more even and fair throughout every league

I wondered about Martinez, watching him micro managing the players during practice as most people hate someone watching over their shoulder and to see him insisting that young players change their body movements to suit his perceived methods. This kind of control destroys natural talent by undermining confidence.
Give the rest of the season to big Dunc the fans choice. Martinez coming back is absolutely madness to say the least if he,s giving the job then I'm done with Everton.."the people's club" not no more we,re not.

You are talking shit. Martinez is exactly what the club needs. He will bring positivity around the ground and staff. He will give the players confidence back and that’s all they need . They are good enough.
We need a manager with premier league experience mid season and we need a decent man manager . I would love to see the style we played under Martinez again . And people saying he was a failure ? His worst season was 11th and two cup semi finals . Oh Noe’s how dreadful .

Everton are suffering exactly the same problem as Man Utd, you both had long term managers who ran the club's in their own unique ways from the boardroom to the canteen and everything in-between. The club's could both do with taking a look at their respective neighbours to see how a football club should be run in the 2020s and then appoint a manager.
