  1. I haven't done the research but i believe he's 24 in like his 3rd year. Less playoff experience than most of our other pitchers. I don't think he should have been thrown in that situation. Rob makes some horrible decisions

  2. It sucks for kerkering but that's why you have to mentally prepare for every situation before the pitch like if a ball is hit to you with the bases loaded and 2 outs "where am I going with it?"

  3. Kim was automatically safe since the catcher blocked the plate without the ball per MLB rules. The ump even called him safe before Kim returned to the plate.

  4. I feel bad for the guy. Yeah it was a terrible panic play but it wasn't really all his fault if they could have scored more than 1 run.

  5. Difference between Team leadership:
Both teams were at the mound. Game 2, Mookie called for a “wheel play” and they executed the perfect text book play!
Game 4, before Kerkering, if just one player or coach reminded them of throwing to first base, a simple reminder, Harper: “one out guys, throw to first”, inning over, Treinen comes in , game over. Both teams fly to Philadelphia. But they ASSUMED Kerkering will throw to first, making an azz out of U and ME ending in defeat!
When Pages broke his bat, 1st distraction in a bang bang panic mode, the broken bat sound. Heart rate over 150beats/min! Bobbling the ball, trying to find where the ball is like a catcher losing sight of a missed ball, 2nd distraction, where’s the ball? Panic 101 for a young 24 year old reliever! HR 180/min! Back in his mind, he’s thinking Pages the center fielder speed might already be two or three steps within first base and throwing the ball from his position off the mound, he might throw it to the dugout, lack of confidence in fielding. HR 200/min!
The final throw to Realmoto, panic mode Code Red, the arm muscles just don’t listen to you, the brain stops functioning, and the eyes and ears betray you! For a pitcher to throw a little leaguer pitch to home, with a HR over 250/min…… Feel bad for him in that situation!
    Chokers’ HR sky high!
Clutchers slow the HR, keeps cool and calm, thinks not about pitching to Pages in a bases loaded situation, what to do IF THE BALL came back to you, honestly 90% of humans would have panicked here!
