      Chelsea had an advantage over liverpool played at home in champions league 3 games a week with 2 hames for chelsea at home where liverpool went to turkey nd bak so travelling probably cost liverpool

      Danny is probably the fairest pundit on UK TV, calls it how he sees it and stays away from all the sensationalist nonsense. It is a LONG season and I think we could end up seeing all three teams be better in the second half than they are now because all three have had a lot of changes, I think there is a window for the teams not in Europe like Bournemouth to make an impression. Teams like Palace and even Spurs might not be fully equipped for three games a week yet.

      Great commentary from Danny Murphy. Makes very valid points. At the end of the day, it takes more than a few games to embed the amount of new players they’ve signed. They’ll be there in the hunt for the title last few games of the season. Wouldn’t surprise me if they go further in CL this season either.

      God the English media just can't help themselves, Salah was doing just fine when their little darling Trent was out and he's struggled before when both have been on the pitch

      Anybody with a brain can still tell you our main areas of worry are on the LW and at CB especially

      No one has told Slot that he had to chuck every new player in straight away, even an amateur in none league football wouldn't do that. Slot is not a top quality manager and these performances won't change until he leaves.

      this myth that trent was some awful defender is insane, did he get "exposed" at times yes but the team was built so trent didnt need to sprint back all the time with CM supposed to drop back and LCB cover when needed and with him being so good on the ball he dictated most things, all our plays started with him and i have said for years no trent or bad form = no salah stats pointed that way and this season has hammered it home with evidence. If trent was such a bad defender slot would have either dropped him or moved him forward, we have two right backs that he doesnt want to play and would rather our attacking midfielder play RB

      Now if Benty was to say this Goldstein wouldint have responded with "thats fair" it would have straight up been "No excuses". I dont want to hear ANY excuses from Danny or Liverpool this season irrespective of how it ends
