Is Jurrien Timber the BEST Right-Back in the World Currently? The Arsenal and Netherlands defender has been entered into conversations such as this recently, and in this short, I analyse just how good Timber has become.
I begin with his evolution at Arsenal and under Mikel Arteta, the tactics of his role, the qualities he brings on and off ball, as well as where I feel he can still improve. I also finish with a comparison with Ben White.

Who is the others backs that are not allowing you to say he’s the best?
I'm not sure I can remember him having a bad game. I agree that going forward he has a lot to improve (despite the fact that he has plenty of goal contributions) but his defensive abilities and consistency are second to none.
❤️
Edu has done some underrated work. Saliba Gabriel Timber and Calafiori are all his signings, not to even mention the likes of rice
Amazing as always Harvey, I would love to see him play in midfield
Just to think he was close to ManU the season before we signed him.
Good player but he is not the best in the position ❤❤he has alot to do
Are timber and kounde same playstyle???
I rate him but the fact his ball striking 'needs work' is enough to NEVER mention him in the same convo as Reece James
Timber is incredibly versatile and will serve Arsenal good for years to come. He'll only get better under Arteta's tutelage
The only bad game I’ve ever watched him play was PSG home in the semis… and that was only the first 30 minutes
When I checked him up I knew he would have been the singing of the season and than the injury came on he is a special star
