  1. Thats why players like Gravenberch, Kante and Rodri are so special. You usually need 2 players to do the job they do all by themselves. City don't have an abled backup because its fxcking Rodri. He's literally one of one and they won't find someone like him in the market. He's the current world player of the year ffs. Pep might have to sacrifice an attacker or defender because he needs another body in midfield.

  2. This is I think the worst mentality instilled in English football. When a key in your tactic missing, you have options to shape another tactic, great manager must be capable of that. But instead we got people opt for replacement transfer instead.

  3. The freekick at 35 minutes against Liverpool sums them up completely. Sacrificing an attacking opportunity in order to look clever.
    It was embarrassing.

  4. And guess which player never receives a second yellow card despite all the cynical tactical fouls he commits. Maybe if refs actually punished Rodri for these fouls some of their results might be a little different. But then they are ref’d differently to other teams.
