Goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were enough to earn us a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Olympiacos at Arsenal Stadium. A goal in each half was the difference as we maintain our 100% record in the Champions League.

  1. Odegard with those smooth passes.
    Saka still doing his thing.
    Gyo stings like a bee.
    Raya loves clean sheets.
But I love the fact that Martinelli wanted to guide the player to allow Gyo's ball in before it hit the bar.
    That's team spirit

  2. This might have been Gyokeres' best game for Arsenal so far, even though he didnt score, he was getting involved and I think it has alot to do with Odegaard finding his form too. When those two click, its going to get dangerous.

  3. To be very honest, I was not happy with the result because we almost gave away the match by not taking our chances. Also i think Gyokeres is frustrated and taking a lot of shots which he could have instead laid a pass for a teammate because the rest are doing the same. even if we see Saka's goal, its lucky that it went through the keeper or else he should have laid that for Gyokeres. I hope Arsenal realize they have a goal scoring striker in their team and not a part time midfield/striker like before.

  4. I kinda like that Martinelli waited to see if Gyokeres's attempt would score before slotting it in himself. I think they all know how much Gyoks wants a goal.

That being said, I hope they don't take such chances in the future. Just make sure the ball goes in.

  5. This was the most edgy Arsenal game I've had to watch in like since the 23-34 season. We bagged the win but damn, how tense it was.
I trust both the players, the manager & the coaches saw where we faltered, we could have got more goals and have more control but I believe it's the price you pay for playing a fast paced game!

Great game Gyokeres, really disturbed the defenders. Our captain was outstanding today. Raya, I just can't describe what a gem we have in him. Myles with the clever defence, winning his place in the first team.
Congrats to the players and the coaches for the preparations before the game, We delivered. On to the Next one,

  6. EVERYONE SEES IT!!!! Saka! Odegard! Trossard! Stop putting ego i n front of titles and bff's! Give the ball to Gyokeres! You've won absolutely nothing! Besides money! Okay so maybe ignore what I've just said, you'r reaching your goals!

  7. Good win but we did the same thing when we had to feed our striker. That run Odegaard made and ended up passing to Trossard leaving out Gyokeres who had space and made him know on 3 different occasions while on the very run was unnecessary. Just feed our striker man!!

  8. I believe the fact that Saka and Odegaard have played together for a long time helps their chemistry on the field. I also believe because they are both intelligent footballers, they can easily create solutions on the pitch. Look at the movement Saka takes after passing the ball to Odegaard, he takes up a different position on the pitch to enable Odegaard locate him. Most of our wingers wouldn't take up that position that Saka ran into.
