Manchester United secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford, easing the pressure on manager Ruben Amorim.
Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was shown a red card just five minutes in, after a reckless challenge denied Bryan Mbeumo a clear goalscoring opportunity. Manchester United wasted no time capitalising on the numerical advantage, as captain Bruno Fernandes marked his 100th goal for the club to open the scoring. Casemiro added a second in the 37th minute, putting United firmly in control.
