🔴⚫ AC Milan 2-1 Napoli | A Statement Win at San Siro ⚡

AC Milan have sent a powerful message to the rest of Serie A with a crucial 2-1 victory over reigning champions Napoli at San Siro. This wasn’t just three points—it was a night that showcased resilience, tactical discipline, and flashes of brilliance from Christian Pulisic and Alexis Saelemaekers. Under Massimiliano Allegri, Milan are still a team in transition, but results like this could define the season.

From the very start, Milan looked hungry. Just three minutes in, Christian Pulisic produced a moment of pure determination down the flank, breaking free and delivering a perfect ball across the box. There, unmarked and ice-cool, Alexis Saelemaekers smashed it home to make it 1-0. The stadium erupted—San Siro could feel that something special was building.

Napoli, however, were never going to roll over. Within minutes, they tested Mike Maignan, forcing the French goalkeeper into two sharp saves, one from a Gutierrez header and another from McTominay’s driven effort. But Milan held firm.

On 27 minutes, the Rossoneri should have doubled their advantage when Youssouf Fofana rattled the crossbar after being played through by Pulisic. San Siro gasped, but the second goal wasn’t far away. Strahinja Pavlović drove powerfully down the left, cut back to Fofana, who laid it off brilliantly for Pulisic. With confidence and precision, the American slotted home with the help of a deflection—2-0 to Milan, and a dream first half was unfolding.

Then came the controversy. Just before the break, VAR drama struck when Pervis Estupiñán was adjudged to have fouled his man inside the box. After a lengthy review, he was shown a red card, and Kevin De Bruyne calmly converted the penalty for Napoli. From cruising, Milan suddenly had a fight on their hands, reduced to ten men and facing 45 long minutes against the champions.

The second half was about resilience. Allegri turned to his bench, bringing on Rafael Leão, Giménez, and later Ruben Loftus-Cheek, managing both energy and structure. Napoli threw everything forward. Giovanni Di Lorenzo went close from a set piece, while in the dying minutes, Pérez unleashed a thunderbolt from 25 yards that clipped the corner of the bar and post. For a moment, time stood still at San Siro—but fortune, and Maignan’s presence, were on Milan’s side.

When the final whistle blew, the roar inside the stadium was deafening. Allegri’s Milan had survived, fought, and claimed a statement win. Saelemaekers and Pulisic were the heroes, Maignan once again proved his world-class value, and the team showed that even in adversity, they could grind out results.

This win puts Milan firmly in the conversation as title contenders, even if Allegri’s style of play remains a subject of debate among fans. Was it pragmatic genius or survival mode? Either way, three points against Napoli will echo loudly in this Serie A campaign.

San Siro demanded a big performance, and Milan delivered. The title race is wide open—and if the Rossoneri can combine grit with more attacking fluency, nights like this could become the standard rather than the exception.

  1. Let's all calm down now a bit. Estupinan made a mistake, he knows it, he will get better after a talk with Allegri.

Against the zebras next, we have Bartesaghi who is ok in defense (buuuuuuut lacks confidence). We can do 0:1 or 1:2 against them.

Wanna see Pulisic and Leao for around 30 mins next.

Also wanna see Leao sold in January😅 dude too lazy. Modric running like a cat having zoomies compared to Leao was just funny at some point.

Santi? aight bro maybe the Portuguese league will take you.

  2. deserved win , before the red we were in total control, i think its even more impressive that we held on with 10 men, if this last year we have blown this lead or even lost, but our team spirit is amazing and its all thanks to coach.

  3. As a Barcelona fan i congratz Milan for a huge win, great game and i hope Milan is back, because now i really see Milan as a team. I want to see Milan back in the UCL, where they should always be!

  4. My god, what a game. Modric and rabiot changed our midfield. I totally forgot about jashari's injury, and I feel sorry for ricci. Football is a team sport. It's not good to have ego and lazy ppl while older ppl are running their ass off for the team. Forza Milan.

  5. Pulišić deserved man of the match, Fofana payed back for the over the bar miss with an assist to Pulišić and the killer scored. Pavlović was a surprise, for Milan fans and for Napoli players haha. Estupinan was too slow the entire 1st half. He was not closing down the passes from wingers and I feared one of those chances would result with a goal for Napoli. When Allegri didn't sub him for Bartesaghi at half time, I was pissed. Next half after the penalty, I was holding down the pillow, ready to scream in case Napoli scored a second goal. But Milan showed that they can play 45 min with 9 guys and not concede a goal from one of the top teams in Serie A. Maignan was another angel who defended 6 good shots from Napoli players.

  6. The defense held, it bent but did not break even after the red card. The team is starting to believe in itself under the guidance of mad Max. Enjoy the win, rest up and lets get ready for another tough match against Juventus.

  7. Modrić saved us once more from a 2-2 situation. That opportunity by Neres in 90 min was going in, but Luka with his 1,72 cm height jumped and by the strands of his hair, he changed the trajectory of the shot. Modrić and Maignan wrote a new gospel for Milan fans this evening. The prophecy of the second star. ⭐⭐

  8. 10 years, 10 years ive lost by seen this game in our lovely San Siro.😅

A San siro that was back alive with the CURVA SUD leading the chants.❤

We can say Allegri's gameplan worked, seen a Milan side that been fight for every meter and every bal.

Una squadra thats what there was on the pitch, every single player was like gladiators in the colosseum fighting for there lifes. 😍

This mentality will give us self confidence en strenght for the next games. Game by game ragazzi, but FORZA MILAN PER SEMPRE😈🖤❤️

  9. Francesco is 100% correct. Lazy Leao lacked effort. He didn’t need to know how to defend. Running into space and running at defenders takes effort. Leao gave no effort.
In questi c🔴l⚫️ri a casa e davanti della torna di curva per il primo posto e giocare addormentato… abbiamo così tanti giocatori alternativi chi combatteranno per la maglia.

Happy & relieved for the win.

Modric brought the magic from Real to Milan! What a player and the squad has changed since his arrival! This Milan has to win something this year! Vai vai, Forza Milan!

  11. Nice to see you happy again, this channel will keep going alive 😊, and greetings to Francesco, nice to see another passionate fan! ❤️🖤

  12. Modric, Rabiot, Pulisic, Alexis mamma mia. They are working so hard on field. Defence is also looking good, i hope we can keep consistency, i love how 40y old Modric is running to help defence, i hope Leao will learn something. As you said when player have 6 CL and one golden ball, nobody can say shit against him. When i saw team celebrating at end it was so amazing. They played like a team and they celebrated like team, like one big family. Pulisic is our main striker now. Just no words, he is LeBron James of soccer this season 😆. I really hope Leao will show more, if he steps up we will be unstoppable. Let’s hope injuries will be no problem this season. And ofc bravo Max, simply lovely! Forza Milan ❤️🖤

  13. Forza Milan always. Regarding Leao, Milan was down to 10 men, Leao did not come in to defend in this way, he was put in to be the only attacking threat and to stretch the game with his pace. Yes he could have given more but saying that about a player who was out for 2 months with an injury after his first game back but love to give Santi as many chances as possible is hypocritical. Allow Leao to be Leao. Masterclass by Pulisic, Salaemakers, Modric and Rabiot. Brilliant

  14. They showed that this team knows how to fly and knows how to suffer as well…

We now have not conceded a goal in open play since… a long time it seems

  15. Today, A.C Milan made new fans across the globe. Incredible. What can we say about Puliziiick! This guy is in the zone. Mr. Sales Man is on point as well. My concern is, if Leao comes back, and Milan starts lacking, folks will start saying that Milan’s flaw is Leao. That’s my only concern. Because everyone on Milan defends. And we all know Leao gets lazy at times. Anyway, everyone played fantastic imo. Even Estupina. Sure he got owned a few times, but stuck with it. Great experience for him.

Santi Santi Santi. Made an improvement on moving out of the way 🤷🏻 … he needs to start off the bench. A bench in Holland. Far far away. He is the only flaw on the team. If this was Abraham or Morata, everyone would be calling for their heads. And they play ok imo. I don’t get it with Mexican fans. This guy is just not good enough for the highest level.
