Breel Embolo REFUSES to celebrate Goal Vs Cameroon after scoring against the country of his Birth
Breel Embolo scored for Switzerland but REFUSED to celebrate against the country of his birth.
The Monaco forward broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half of Switzerland’s opening fixture on Thursday, but he chose against celebrating it and instead raised both hands while appearing to apologise.
The 25-year-old, who was born in Cameroon, opened the scoring in their Group G opener at the World Cup.
Embolo, 25, was born in the Cameroonian capital of Yaoundé, before moving to France with his mother at the age of five, where she met her future Swiss husband.
He smashed home from close range to give his side the lead, but showed respect to Cameroon in a muted celebration.

it sounds like an own goal though.
It reminds of that one time Granit Xhaka missed on purpose because he did not want to score against Albania, pathetic.
Not only born in Cameroon, he his a cameroonian by blood
I think he is fool
Great player!
😂😂😂what a name E
Love you embolo from Bharat🇮🇳
Like I said in another video players what become citizen by emigrashould not be allowed to play for the new country, if you are born there or your parents are from there is acceptable, the emigration is not! If he is so sorry for Cameroon, don't play for Swiss or don't play the game against your MOTHER LAND! JUDAS!!
