  1. TalkSport-Leave Sterling in peace. His legs are gone but he was a fantastic player for a decade plus. He’s on massive money, has two years remaining on obscene weekly wages, and it’s come out that he wants to keep his young family settled in London. Let him be while he collects his massive wages. It’s Chelsea’s fault for signing him to such a contract. If he’s prioritizing free and legal money to keep his young family stable in one place then I applaud him. It’s business at the end of the day and Sterling has to look out for his family first.

  2. He would be playing CL football if he lowered his wages..
For that 350k a week, he can get all the help he needs if he develops any mental issues he placed himself in.
Napoli, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham United, Fulham, and Crystal Palace. all wanted him.
We're fighting for someone who's very much comfortable and doesn't care.

  3. He earns 300k + a week, refused to go to Saudi, refused to go to Turkey and Fulham but now all of a sudden he has mental health issues!!?? Choose another narrative Talksport

  4. Regardless of how much he's earning, the practice of 'bomb squads' is a bit murky from a legal point of view. If this case gathers momentum then it could have interesting long-term implications.

  5. Maresca's comments all stem from a Sterling post on his socials. And PFA like any union has to also be concerned about the mental health of its members. They aren't doing anything another Union wouldn't do. The reality is Chelsea are upset they have to carry on paying these players' wages when they won't be making appearances. And the manager has been told they shall be completely frozen out and made to feel as small and unwanted as possible. I am almost certain managers in these situations would see no harm in having them do certain parts of first team training with the others b4 they go off on their own. I obviously understand keeping them away from the dressing room and having meals etc with the team. That may lead to disharmony. But the club won't give them a severance payment agreed with by players on the remainder of their contract and let them leave. I will always stand with labour. These tactics by the clubs the world over show why they have absolutely no moral ground to stand on when it comes to criticism for the likes of Isak and Wissa

  6. Just lose 23,000,000 and move on. If you want me out, pay me out. If I want out I should be able to pay it out. You are not buying a person you are buying a contract.

  7. When he was trying to be an actor; Rory used to say he grew up near Leicester Square, but now he's a regular bloke who likes beer and football, it's St Raph's, 10 miles away

  8. 👉CHELSEA are getting what they deserve, £325,000 a week for the next 3 years, Sterling uprooted his family to go to Chelsea, And there will others besides him and Desarsi to dig their heels in and just stay for the Money, some on 8 year Contracts, haha 🤣🤣 can't wait until there's about 10 of them, that will be really funeeeeeeee, 😂, You've created your own fcking destiny I'm afraid stupid fcking Chelsea, let the DRAMA begin 😂😂😂

  9. Tired of these wafer thin fragile footballers all pampered and entitled…The facts are Chelsea payed a load of money for Sterling in fee and wages and he has been utterly useless since he came to the club, if you don't perform you get demoted simple as that, so suck it up and improve ! It's not like he hasn't had ample chances to move to other prem clubs and he turned them all down…Theirs people in this country on the breadline really suffering and we have to listen to Sterling whining and his enablers like that buffoon Agbonlahor…Gtfoh !

  10. They owe him absolutely nothing. He chose to stay there for the ££ so he has to accept what comes with that. The little prima dona earns £325k a week FFS, he can pay for therapy or whatever he wants, I have absolutely no sympathy for these guys.

  11. Presumably Rory has examples of other people in other industries who are excluded, when the employer wants them to leave the building and give up 12 months salary?

  12. How can you love someone and speak about them in this manner as if you’re the one in the situation. British media is absolute garbage. Bashing him now but when he was the best player for you lot at the World Cup had nothing to say.
For a player as decorated as him disrespect is disrespect and Chelsea have done a lot more that disrespected him

  13. Sterling has a contract, therefore he has an employer, therefore they have a duty of care no matter what he earns.
No one, in any employment, should be ostracised. No one, no matter what their job.
It's bullying. It's not nice. It will affect mental health.
    Do better Rory

  14. Bruh Sterling is not depressed in fact he is probably the opposite because all he has to do is train and boom a fat 300K a week in the bank account for the next 2 years

And it's obvious he has chosen money because he had chances to move if he took a pay-cut but he wants the money and doesn't want to leave London. And tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Sterling retires in 1-2 years when his chelsea contract expires because no other clubs are gonna pay him 300K, and to make it harder, he only wants London

And if we use common sense, he is simply not worth 300K 😂 and infact he is not even worth 130K so as of now sterling is spoilt to the heavens and definitely NOT depressed
