Extended highlights from Arsenal vs Man City featuring a goal from Gabriel Martinelli – Premier League 2025/26

We fought back to earn a point at Emirates Stadium on Sunday as we played out a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Gabriel Martinelli came off the bench to make a major impact for the second game running, connecting with Eberechi Eze’s through-ball to lift a superb finish over Gianluigi Donnarumma for a 93rd-minute leveller.

Erling Haaland had given City an early lead in north London, but the Gunners finally broke the visitors’ resistance for a share of the spoils.

  1. Next time, think twice before making the sub's list. Two times in a row where he comes off bench and scores!!! 😯😯😎. I like the way Arteta celebrated after the goal his sssuuuuuubbbb scored.

  2. If Odegaard isn't playing, Eze or Nwaneri should start. Merino is a decent player but just ends up clogging our midfield in games where we need the x-factor. I only started watching the highlights from 2nd half😂😂

  3. Watching the highlights of the game again actually shows that Arsenal had a good amount of shots at goal and created more chances than claimed by some so-called pundits.

  4. Saliba main focus should have been closing down Haaland instead of going after the ball, you saw Haaland running and u were busy going after Tijani Reijnders leaving Haaland free and unmarked. Reijnders can't score alone, he should have anticipated that pass to Haaland by leaning towards him.

  5. Three years ago when Rob Holding was in for Saliba and the City trashed us 4-1. Many pundits point that that day when Arteta turned super defensive, never ever wanting a trashing like that again. Last year, Arsenal trashed City 5-1, and now when City visit the Emirates they park the bus. I don't know if Arteta will ever win something for us, but to make Pep change his fundamental playing style to just trying to survive is an amazing role reversal.
