Best player and a future captain on the quiet… he is a bit of a throwback in terms of his attitude and leadership… and I think people sleep on the fact that he is still only 26… he’s just now coming into his prime years and because he made a few errors at Juventus and never really got going at Bayern because of injuries, people were quick to write him off… as long as he steers clear of serious injury, we’ve got a captain there for the next 5-6 years once Bruno calls it a day…. And a bargain at what, £35-40m 😮

De Ligt is so underrated by UK Media & largely because he's first choice ahead of Maguire, the English Media's darling & they can't accept Maguire's simple not as good, never has been! 🤷
