  1. You will rarely see players getting past Timber and that's one thing that I don't get from Ben White. Timber's defensive work is impregnable. And I think he's starting to up his offensive work too. Also, I think he's so assured and efficient with the ball, something you expect from an Ajax graduate. Pure talent.

  2. We have so much more threat against the mid block vs last season now. Whether it's having runners for balls over the top or players that can dribble past players it's the variety and speed of transition that helps break it down.

  3. For some reason I like Ben White when we are on the attack. His link up play with Saka was outstanding. Don't get me wrong Timber is a great play, but I want to see him play closer to Saka/Madueke on the offensive play

  4. He is the best RB since Lauren, better than both Sagna and White who both are/were very good RB's they could struggle against very fast wingers. Where as I have not seen a better 1 vs 1 fullback….maybe ever since I started supporting the club 35+ years ago. I think im even more confident with Timber against elite wingers than I was with Ashley Cole, even Cole would get destroyed at times – I remember Joaquin absolutely destroying him.
Yes he isnt quite at the elite level in terms of attacking ability or attacking intent, but he isn't terrible in that department and everything else he is absolutely top tier – brilliant technically, intelligent, reads the game, reads players, strong, low centre of gravity, quick both in short and long distances, athletic and a good passer.
