  1. I hold a firm and, I know, controversial belief: as long as Mikel Arteta is the manager, Arsenal's chances of winning a major trophy remain severely limited. My concern is rooted in his persistent and baffling team selection choices against our direct rivals, which often feel deliberately counterintuitive.

The contrast with Liverpool is stark. Their success stems from a proven strategy of appointing elite, trophy-winning managers. The coaches who preceded Arteta at Liverpool had already won the Premier League and major European honors. Arteta, for all the investment and time he has been given, has yet to demonstrate that same winning pedigree.

His personnel decisions are a primary source of frustration. In a tough midfield battle, a player like Merino does not appear to be the robust solution required. Furthermore, the pattern of persisting with certain players is predictable; the moment Kai Havertz is fit, he will almost certainly be reinstated over a more potent attacking option like Victor Gyokeres, regardless of current form or tactical fit.

This raises a fundamental question about his judgment. The club has spent an extraordinary amount of money to assemble a squad of top players, and the expectation is that we should be consistently winning matches. Yet, we are not seeing the return on that investment.

I am pessimistic about the immediate future. Our upcoming match against a physical and organized Newcastle United side will be extremely tough, and based on current tactical trends, I fear another disappointing result is likely.

  2. Well done matinelli and rice as well as eze you played very very well keep it up guys we really appreciate the work to the work done buy you guys i would like to thank everyone in the team participated to the game you are awesome guy i really enjoyed the game even though we drew that's how it is

  3. Is it possible that the way Arteta has been using Martinelli was unsuited to his skillset and was making him look ineffective as a result?

  4. Think the problem in the Arsenal team isn’t the players it’s arteta he’s deluded after the game saying arsenal played better than last season when arsenal beat them 5-1 this game arsenal had 80% of the ball and only drew 1- 1 and the goal coming in very late 93rd minute, Eze should of started and arteta was ecstatic with the draw other managers like pep or mourinho would be fuming arteta needs to change be more ruthless and use the new players he’s has and take risks
