  1. I feel that Glasner would be a good option if you want to move on from Amorim. The only issue is that he's a bit of a hothead that may create A scene if he doesn't get who or what he wants. But he's a winner and has won trophies with mid-table unfancied sides before. The best part is that he uses the three-at-the-back system.

Iraola is an interesting option too. Lastly, I don't think that Amorim would be welcome back at Stadio De Luz (Benfica's home ground) again after managing their bitter rivals, Sporting which is ironic as he played for Benfica as a player…it's a bit like if Gerrard managed Man United and then was appointed Liverpool's manager someday.

  2. Hi Rich – silly season for Journalists-

Southgate is Sir Jim’s mate – he played 3 at the back for England and would play Mainoo and all the other English players

Iraola – why leave a club higher than us

Glassner – again champions league and living in London and gets great press – will get a top job in Europe

  3. Rich – I believe Amorim will lose 3 of the next 4 and will be gone after the next international break. Carrick will pull an Ole again and get us back to toaiii
