  1. Nunes has FAILED so far in the premier league. He is now PROVEN to be a below average player in the EPL.. why are we signing him? Are we preparing for Europa League football ?

  2. And also, Nunez is Garbage. And if he is under pressure then he must be mentally a child and not capable of playing in this league for this club. We are done. Nunez has already cost us 6 points and a cup progression after missing his 16 big chances.

  3. We’ve seen what CL budget looks like. Heck, we’ve seen what a CL winning budget looks like. I’d hate to see what a non CL budget looks like. A truly terrifying thought

  4. Oh yeah because we don't need anyone in midfield at the moment. It's going to be very awkward on all sides if he plays against us in fa cup. We're living in bizarro world at the moment.

  5. Tielamans is a cheap option as he has 6 months left .. if it doesn’t work out your not going to lose the money on him but he adds a gini type player to help out the midfield .

  6. Still win the champions league? Are you mad? With THIS midfield and THIS defense ? 😂😂🤣🤣

You seriously talking about Keita and Melo? Still? Henderson is useless without two technically better players around him.. Eliot is just a busybee with no vision through midfield and also needs better players around him.. Fabinho's motivation is gone and so are his legs. VVD is not the same defender since his injury. Trent has become static and his crosses/ passes are mostly awful now.. Konate is the new Joe Gomez clearly.. what champions league? Madrid will embarass us in the round of 16.

  7. ? Does anyone not find this silly that LFC could’ve signed him in August… but now we’re gonna go back to sign him now ? 🤷🏻‍♂️
I’m not at all buy the “bedding in period” narrative that LFC allowed him to go to Wolves to “get ready.” It’s just silly

  8. Missed opportunity to sign Nunes and Sangaré in the summer for relatively cheap, now prices have jumped a bit.

Seems like the offices can’t pull the trigger on pricing and now having remorse of missed opportunities. Hopefully we don’t end up like United or Chelsea and sign players for way more than they are worth or just excessive amounts due to poor transfer management.

  9. Why didn't we just buy him in the summer we've needed a midfielder for god knows how long yet the club would rather throw season after season away. Fuckin idiots absolute incompetence from top to bottom what good is nunes to us in the summer when we've already missed out on top 4 and had a shit season. I would rather us of signed nunes than gakpo tbh the midfield is in crisis.

  10. Personally because we need numbers in the middle of the park, and our restricted spending power which Potentially could change I would prefer Nunes, Caicedo and Kone comparably to one Bellingham

  11. Teilemans and assensio on free’s in the summer. Would make sense if fsg are penny pinching. Also skrinar on a free for the centre back option. Could be decent business there.

  12. So basically what it is that they wanted to sign him but hit a road block and then Mendez sighned him to Wolves but probably put in his contract that if Liverpool come back for nunes then it’s a pre contracted agreement and he joins Liverpool in the summer that’s basically what it is he wanted nunes to join Liverpool but had to do a desperate deal with wolves and nunes wanted Liverpool cause who’s gonna wanna join wolves over Liverpool no one so I’m guessing Liverpool have now come back and activated that clause and he’s gonna sign in the summer

  13. i think the club partly expected curtis and a couple others to step up to a higher level this year but they haven’t really, curtis seems to have plateaued in terms of progress wise, yes he’s been injured and not played a lot but he just isn’t stepping it up and hasn’t since 20/21

  14. last season teams would try and get at us and we’d play quick passes and usually get a chance from it so teams would back off and just defend as they’d have a better chance of a result from a counter attack, this season teams get at us and we panic and lose it, not too sure why exactly as it’s the same midfield who would play out last year but hopefully we catch some teams out soon and they give us that respect again so we can play at our best

  16. Pele actively promoted female athletes in football, this one is for him. Rumours are swirling about us being linked with three midfielders, one of which will join the club after signing both Cody Gakpo and Gemma Bonner. According to reports (The Times, BBC and Liverpool’s official supporters club in Norway), exciting Danish midfielder Sofie Lundgaard is on her way to Liverpool from 11 x Danish Champions Fortuna Hjørring. We’re also linked with Sam Kerr (Rangers) and Miri Taylor (Angel City). YNWA🏆🧣

  17. We’re just not ran like a serious club under the stewardship of FSG when it comes to on the pitch matters.
They pressed the self destruct button after we got back on top, ignoring the maintenance of an unbelievable team.
They chose to stand still and it didn’t have to be that way.
It’s not just FSG they are all to blame.
They made a series of decisions to flog the horse until it died between their legs.
    It’s absolutely criminal.
Midfield cracks we’re starting to show in 2019 and what’s happening now is the result of negligence and incompetence in the last 4 years.
Why didn’t we just sign Nunes 6 months ago?
Instead we decided to go for an injury prone player that doesn’t even suit our style of play.
Serious questions need to be asked of the direction the club is going in.
Even now, our sixth transfer window since 2019 and they’re still twiddling their thumbs over signing midfielders.
    It’s pathetic.

  18. Fat lot of good that'll do us for the rest of this season.

Also not convinced by his profile, hasn't proved himself at wolves – and is an attacking 8 when we clearly need a ball winner with bags of energy.

  19. Maybe when you spell that particular surname with a 'Z' it makes you incapable of hitting a barn door with a banjo?! Replace the 'Z' with an 'S' and we're good to go. Gomez to Díaz to Nunez to Nunes! Goooooooooooal. 😁

P.S. We definitely should have waited for Nunes to score against us on Saturday before tapping him up, à la Minamino. 😃 Maybe he'll go easy on us now.

  20. Could have easily signed him in the summer. Most supporters could see we desperately needed new midfielders but we were told we don't 💁🏻‍♂️

  21. Is there a Scouse LFC pod contributer anywhere with the balls to state that Jordan Henderson has been rapidly declining since he got injured at home to Everton in the 20/21 season, and that he wasn't pulling up any trees prior to that???

I'm talking on the pitch. As an actual footballer. He's never been as good as the fan media hype merchants claim but he's now largely dreadful!
