At Ruben Amorim’s request, Manchester United try to sign Zeno Debast
Manchester United have had a terrible start to the season once again and their fans are showing great impatience. The team isn’t showing any signs of improvement and some sectors have been weakened by the departure of certain players. The board are considering submitting an offer for the player and hope to be able to announce him in the next transfer window. Manchester United are very interested in signing defender Zeno Debast. The defender was coached by Ruben Amorim at Sporting and the coach has reportedly asked the club to try and acquire him. The board are delighted with the player’s talents and have reportedly considered offering him €40 million in January. However, the figures are far from what the Portuguese are asking for. To announce the arrival of Zeno Debast, the Red Devils will have to open their coffers and make a payment of €80 million, according to the source. If a bid doesn’t reach those figures, it’s very likely that Sporting’s board will refuse to open talks over the transfer of the player.
