Before my transfer from FC Bayern München to the Vancouver Whitecaps I have heard that Vancouver is one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Due to its unique combination of natural beauty and urban charm, with majestic mountain backdrops, stunning ocean views and fantastic parks like Stanley Park. Here are my impressions from Vancouver. What do you think?

  1. Sure its a nice city if you're a multi-millionaire. High crime, high taxes, no social cohesion, traffic nightmares, drug addiction. I am born and raised here and can't wait to leave once I retire. The city has changed so much and for the worse. I suppose if one is a far-left extremist its great to see the transformation; but for any rational person, the city, and this country for that matter, are circling the toilet drain.

  2. Welcome to Vancouver! Did you know that Vancouver main commercial street downtown, Robson Street, used to be called Robsonstrasse? Starting in the '50s, the German community (along with many European businesses) began to develop there, continuing on into the '80s.

  4. Yeah it's a beautiful place. Was living there for 14 ish years. Would be great if they took Thomas around other areas though. Like where the regular people live, Commerical, Main st, South Vancouver, DTES!. Cause the only areas I saw in this video were expensive areas cause the Canadian government turned a blind eye to foreign money influencing our real estate and now Vancouver is practically unattainable if you're young and have a family. And a lot of that is due to drug dealers and gangsters cleaning illicit funds.
