  1. Pau all day long‼️ You're not watching football properly if you think Mings is the One.

Tbh Luke I tbought you were faultering on it a bit. Good to hear you stating the facts.

  2. Great analysis! I back all the players for there individual skill sets they offer but ‘unlocking’ Pau Torres is key to us playing our best attacking football!

Bring on the goals, bring on the excitement, and let’s challenge for top 4 again 🫡

  3. I don’t prefer either – Mings isn’t switched on enough to spot the passes and Torres I think is lacking in defending particular strong/busting CF’s. So yeah pick Torres to unlock counters but I fear attacks coming the other way with him so we need to play him in a 3 at CB. Still hurting we never got somebody better than Linderloft but I maybe being a bit harsh….. we’ll see!! UTV

  4. Totally agree. With Mings it's about taking 7 million touches and still he doesn't know what to do with the ball. Whereas Torres can pick out a pass. So if teams are sussing out these particular passages in play then why aren't we using the width more?
Wing play has to be used to it's advantage. It feels no there is no independent thought amongst coached teams today. You set yourself up accordingly and players and teams at this level should be able to switch formations at a drop of a hat any time during the 90 mins.

  5. Maybe we should go for 3-5-2. Mings and konsa shouldering the defensive burden and pau to distribute?

Feels like a catch 22 at the moment because nothing has really worked. Can only really validate one way over the other after 10 games or so imo.

  6. One of the things I liked when we had Clement Lenglet was his ability to change field. He had a big leg and he was a threat to distribute. Pau can do that too. In fact, I remember at one point Pau as being one of the best statistically getting the ball forward.
