Pretty disappointing to read comments like this from Jackson’s camp as the club backed him all the way, even at a time when he was being obliterated in the media and maybe some of our fanbase were losing patience.
I can understand he feels aggrieved with the recruitment of two new forwards but a cliched ‘I’m looking forward to a new challenge’ type comment would surely have been more appropriate given he’s not played a game for Bayern yet, currently still contracted to us for the next eight years and we aren’t exactly afraid to freeze players out a la Lukaku, Sterling or Chilwell. 🤔
