I always think it's very childish for a fan to think of a player as a traitor. They're professionals. They must do what's in their best interests, not the club's. Let's not act like clubs CONSTANTLY treat players like a number and are always getting one over them. But, if it's a player that does it they're somehow evil. Fans can also be extremely toxic. However, it's the players that bring the talent that fans want to watch. I'm a Toluca FC fan, but when Maximiliano Araújo left for Portugal I was very happy for him because he showed he had the talent to make it in a bigger club.
