A brilliant Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick eight minutes from time saw Liverpool edge past us at Anfield to claim the three points.

An even affair saw both teams defend resolutely throughout, and ultimately the Hungarian midfielder’s excellent 30-yard strike saw the points go to the Merseysiders, as our nine-month unbeaten league away run came to an end.

Eberechi Eze made his debut as a second-half sub, but we couldn’t find a way to get back level as our six-game unbeaten run against the Reds ended.

  1. A game that needed a maverick and a creative player like Eze. Eze was suppose to start.. Slot Tactically spot on by bringing in Jones for Mac allister.
Arteta gives big teams too much respect, arsenal came to anfield for a draw. Liverpool were not great on the day they still finding their feet, Newcastle capitalized on that and we did not.
Liverpool have the ability to grind for results even when they are not at their best that is a mentality of champions.
Arteta can be too rigid and lacks the flexibility to make changes at the right time like slot did by bringing in Jones.
Martinelli was poor and odegaard was out of position when we conceded that free kick, zubi was covering for odegaard as he was out of position.
I still believe in odegaard our captain and a great player as for Martinelli the guy is finished.
Im happy to lose at anfield but not in a manner we did..
We were poor tactically from the first whistle, frustrating to watch. We'll done to Liverpool that is why they're the champions.

  2. They came for one point, they play for one point,we hope for one point so we deserve to lose, just simple what team wants to win that team will win. What if Eze and Odegaard substitution is happen in 50min think about it match result must be change.

  3. 1.Arsenal in most of the Second Half were playing not to lose and they lost.
    2. Making proper substitution early is key when you know who you have on bench vs what you see on the pitch.
    3. Good play though, and come back stronger remember it's either PL or CL this season, nothing less. It's been a long time of "so close to winning".

  4. Only attack from flanks and no central attacking
Final third releases are always slow and giving opponent to position quickly to block the space
Trossard should be subbed in instead of Dowman, pure disrespect from Arteta

  5. Party would have bossed this midfield easily, Missed u the Midfield General. Our midfield was in a mess.

Stubborn Arsenal Board decision caused us this game.

Also going forward bench that Martineli guy and field in proper ballers to take over this position, he will be best running at the Olympics.

  6. Disappointed with the approach. With Victor expected some change in the style of play we all saw how he could threaten defenders in open spaces. Impressed with Mosquera. I saw a glimpse when they scored , he was making the team believe we can do it.

Why on earth Raya took left before the freekick was it taught ? He is not tall so he has to manage his positioning..

Impressed with Max they had to double up. Zubimendi was class .. expected more from GYOKORES in applying pressure like Odegaard do…

Any ways get well everyone. Forget this match and prepare well.

We have the league to win

  7. The reason Liverpool is the best right now because of their players stepping up at right moment. Games like this make them great and I think they will be winning the league again

  8. Stupid in final decisions, same and same problems from left side, no one gave support to each other, no one steps up, there's nothing from us, Absolutely dry play, too much of overthinking on decision making gonna cost us at the end of the season you know, please Mikel do somthg
