Imagine if villa were selling Assensio? They would be struggling like hell and yet we have to pay a fee and big wages.

It's enough to make one believe in conspiracy theories. The 'Big 6' wanted a breakaway Super League. They have been allowed to spend hundreds of millions in order to establish themselves again as that Big 6. All other teams have been forbidden that possibility. The FA and UEFA want to maintain that Big 6 in perpetuity and have set the rules accordingly.

Signing aging players on high wages with next to no resale value is really not something Villa should be doing given our financial issues. For long term stability, we have to accept we need to become a bit of a selling club like Brighton. Find cheaper deals like McGinn and Rogers and sell them for 40, 50, 60, 70m
Another idea is for you guys to be at Bodymoor showing behind the scenes footage and club insights 💜💙
