  1. I'm a bit unsure about the new keeper just listening to Elliott, it sounds like he has never been the first choice keeper at Stoke City. Clean Sheets / League one Wes, he is our current number one and quite rightly so, he won't want to give his position up between the sticks but it's good that Wes has competition and that we now have a back up Keeper.

  2. Keeper management seems like one of the hardest jobs: is there really any way to keep two good keepers happy at a club? Almost no clubs really share playing time. It's usually one for league and one for cups, which is hardly an even split.

  3. Hal, please cast light upon the plight of Jake Eastwood. Six years on our books, one appearance, he's now 25 years old. Obviously successive gaffers at the Lane have no confidence in him. So …why is he still here? Has anybody seen him play? Is he any good? And …are we going down the same route with Marcus Dewhurst, he's 22 soon, needs to be in the mix. Hendo was the same age when he became our #1, Alan Hodgkinson was 18 when he played the first of his 576 starts! RIP

  4. As a stoke season ticket holder I thought he was our best keeper, he looked real solid and the defence always looked steady with him between the sticks
