You’ve tried everything to improve your technical. But, you continue to lose the ball in every 1v1. I was once the same but with a work ethic and in depth research I became the player I always wanted to be. And now I beat players for fun and have an amazing first touch.

  1. I mean obviously no one is saying cone drills alone will make you dribble like Musiala. But you do them to improve your ball control, as he says, the ball becomes glued to your feet, you can control it without even looking at it

  2. Cone drills are good for getting technical but the only way to treat defenders like cone drills is with visualisation, fascia (for coordination and fluency on the pitch) and playing without cones (again cone drills are still useful)

  3. I think what Jamie was trying to say is that fascia training and unrestricted training are important but it comes after cone drills and basic fundamental things and once you’ve mastered the basics then you can do fascia training and other things unless your Messi and already born with good technique then you don’t need to know how to manipulate a ball or you already know basic cuz you born with it.

  4. Almost every player professional does some type of fascia training fascia training is basically training the muscles in your foot for balance change of direction and explosive from Messi to Ronaldo and van dijk and haaland and much more
