Last night’s Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals came to an abrupt halt when Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field. Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest and was given CPR on the field to restore his heartbeat before being transferred to a local hospital where he is in critical condition. The game was suspended just over an hour before being officially postponed. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Kevin Wildes and Eric Mangini discuss.

  1. Maybe you smart people at the NFL & that works for the media can figure that out. I don't think you will or even try. Probably because your job is just to be propagandists.

  2. All of a sudden it’s OK now to kneel and pray on an NFL field, how quickly things change. Don’t get me wrong I totally get the emotions of players and what a horrific thing to happen to your teammate but I hope not jus the viewers because I’ve heard these sports announcers now come on TV patting their chest to “keep in mind” that these players are humans under the helmet, yeah well I hope THEY keep in mind how hypocritical the entire league can be when it only apply’s to them. I hope the mother gets an attorney and uses ALL her power and money to go after the Bills, the NFL and investigate if this was because of the vaccine or not. Maybe it isn’t but that shouldn’t be left off table of discussion after all we know. I hope he recovers and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family but for gods sakes our men and woman who lose their lives everyday fighting to keep our country safe don’t even get this much coverage. The NFL is already getting a head of the story trying to paint an explanation as to what could’ve happened. Insane.

  3. Right let's not try to make sense out of this definitely not a result of a violent sport.

But if you look at medical breakdowns of what happened it is a direct result of the violence of the game. Take your head out of the sand, sometimes the truth is hard

  4. Hold on nick no the NFL (Roger goodell) did say they was given 5 mins to warm up see I’m tell y’all the truth because I’m no social media outlet only reason that take didn’t continue was because Buffalo didn’t wanna play anymore for whatever reason and u can’t make grown men do nothing even if u own them so the bengals just followed because who was they gone play them selves pretty sure Goodell tried to make them go back out there but it was no use the players had started coming out there uniform right before they was sent to the locker room it’s been people died on the football field it’s been broke bones necks eyes took out fingers snapped off the hand all kind of freaky unfortunate injuries and the game went on so it’s something fishy about this can’t put my nose on out but regardless of all that prayers up to Hamlin and his family for a speedy recovery 🙏🏾

  5. Great response

Glad it was the only take for the day

Praying from OH for Damar & his family

Prayer is an incredibly powerful thing. Religious or not, unity & synergy moves mountains

  6. The bloodsuckers cried a ton of crocodile tears yesterday. Super disingenuous. If they really cared about the players they'd be holding the owner's feet to the fire to demand that lifetime health insurance is offered as a standard part of any NFL contract.

  7. On a positive note, The Late,Great Carroll Shelby was told he couldn't race cars anymore due to a heart condition but he still went on to be a legendary Sports and Performance car builder… Just trying to offer everyone some hope in this tough time…

  8. my prayers go out to him and his family. They did the right thing by stopping the game. I didn't happen because of the tackle he made. It was bound to happen very soon anyway unfortunately point being is it wasn't a football injury. So you can't blame the sport for what happened to him. That's for at him in shape physically and mentally. For something to go wrong with his heart there was an underlying issue. That had not been seen and it just happened to happen in the game it could have happened eating dinner later that night unfortunately.

  9. Very well said by everyone. I appreciate the unique perspectives all. From a father & coach, a son & player, believers, a non believer…all supremely respectful and real human thoughts & feelings. Kudos and appreciation to all involved with bringing this to the world.

  10. As a person who lacks faith when my mom is super religious, what Nick said hit home hard man. Sometimes when unexpected tragedy happens, you actually need some kind of foundation to hold onto so that you won't drown in the sorrow

  11. I hope he gets better that’s a terrible freak accident, tragic. But on a lighter note they better start thinking about sunday! They’re coming in to foxboro to play the pats AND they’re rattled? Patriots might just sneak into the playoffs let’s go New England!

  12. The real tragedy is that there are things that can be placed on the scale of existence that can be measured against humanity and possibly out weight it.

  13. Nick simps harder for the jab than just about anyone. Do we know the jab caused this? Of course not. But is there more and more evidence coming out about it causing heart issues? Absolutely. So its not unreasonable to think all these super healthy elite athletes randomly dropping have a thing in common

  14. Nick is 100% spot on! Just came from a Pat McAfee video and was kind of annoyed that he lobbied for the person who said take 5 minutes to be fired… and I was like why are we doing this bs. THANK YOU NICK

  15. 1st off Bru, may your Dad rest in paradise. I’m very proud to be a football fan despite the inhumane reactions some folks may have had because we have really good people like Nick and the crew! I’m even more hopeful after this show!

  16. Everyone one is acting like their all surprised by this terrible injury-these men are getting bigger and stronger every year!
Like gladiators trying to take off each others heads !

  17. Comment from his family just goes to prove the nation isn’t racist. The sooner we learn this the better off everyone will be . Too bad politicians can’t figure this out . Hoping and praying for his complete recovery.

  18. This is only a big deal because it happened to a millionair and it was on TV. Sad for the person and his family but really now this story is bigger then ones that should be more important. This is a violent sport, you watch it for the big hits and conflict right? These are the consequences of destroying your body for fame and wealth. How about you all get over it and move on. Theres been hundreds of people that suffered from the exact same since last night yet none of you are making videos about it. Life is tough, move on.

  19. Roger Goodell when will you fix the “helmets coming off” problem in football? It’s just a matter of time before a serious injury happens. No motor racing helmet has ever come off except for a sprint car race where a driver was decapitated with helmet still on. This is an easy problem to fix.
