What's your expectations of Mason Mount this season then? Everything of course revolves around him staying fit but if he does, I get the feeling he could be one of the surprises of the season in a good way.

I'll admit I've been his biggest hater and wasn't quick to forget how useless he's been when he scored a couple in a game against Bilbao we'd basically already won but hes actually looked a bit like the player he was at Chelsea the last couple of games – it's been maddening seeing him start so many games but I think I'm starting to see why Amorim likes him so much. We just can't move him to No 8, we can't ask our most injury prone player (minus that lump Luke Shaw who's years past his best and just hoovering up hundreds of thousands each week trying to stay in the good books – sooner Heaven dethrones him and Diego Leon breaks into the first team the better) to run more and tackle more and be physical more, he'll be lying in a hospital bed by October but if Mount can finally be THAT player again then it will actually be huge for us this season. There is definitely a space for him in this team. Buzzing to get stuck into this video. It was such a questionable signing but I'm lying or plain delusional if I was to say he doesn't look like he's coming back into form he just needs to be 'protected' for lack of a better word.
I like Mount a lot. His attitude is spot on, his work rate is unquestionable and he’s got the same creative vision as Bruno. So although he plays in a similar area to Cunha, I love that theyre actually very different in how they play because it offers us versatility which we’ve massively lacked. I really hope he stays fit because he’s quality.
You know he’s going to get chances because Amorim likes him
The more intelligent and creative players we have in the team the better. That's why managers like him, he listens, can carry out their tactics and also adapt when needed. Very useful guy to have in and around the first team.
Mount will be for us this season what McTominay used to be for us. Not always a starter, but he will be dependable, the manager will love him, he won't be sulking about spending time on the bench but will be ready to give it his all when he's called upon

If he’s fit he’s a better fit at 8 than Bruno imo and easier to balance a partner with than Bruno because he takes instructions

Zirkee need to rotate between the 10 and the 9. Zirkee is the perfect facilitator for Cunha and MBruemo
Bruno need to stay out the midfield and go up more in the attack.
Mount best place at the moment would be right wing back imo.

We all know there's a quality player there, But his injury nightmare since he joined us has made many frustrated, I really hope his fitness and injury problems are behind him and he show's us what he is all about and that can only be good for us
so mount that had 2 seasons with so many injuries can have a 3 season but hojlund whos had 1 decent season and one not so good has to go? make it make sense?

We need to start talking about him more. He does a lot of bright things and seems to be deliberately ignored and discriminated against. I think people are really frustrated that he's been injured for so long and is part of the era of massive spending.
But I'm very hopeful for him. The operative condition being that he stays fit 🙏🏽
The media have been patience with mouth and Shaw simply because dey are English , if dey were not English d media will call Dem out day and night , or can u name any foreign player at utd that have hard Shaw and mouth injury situation and were still kept for long at utd? None

Wen English players are no longer useful up front , dey start deceiving d managers by work rate and droping deep, he is playing in an attacking position , his always dropping deep is not helping d team 90 percent , his dropin deepmeaning he is always out of position , it's like praising a cb because he is always yo front and leaving d back
There are far too many players in that team to be duscusingmouth , mouth should not play a match ahead of zirkzee if he is fit
Mount if he stays fit he will be incredible to have in our team. Most United fans has written this guy off and call him a flopp. I have not gone that far I think he can be a important player for us in the next years if he does not get injured. It looks like Ruben is taking great care of the player.
I feel Bruno has been a stand out in a bad team for years. He needs to now stop trying to save the team. A good team does not need that. I think Mount may actually be a better fit than Bruno in many ways. Weird to suggest that but we need to become an overall better team.
