  1. All the people who want a new LW and throwing fits about the club not signing Eze when the club view the player as an AM …
How will signing Eze satisfy our need for the left winger?

I am a huge Eze fan, and would have loved him at Arsenal … but if you want an LW upgrade, then we really need someone like Rodrygo [who doesn't want to leave Madrid], Barcola, Semenyo, Gordon, Leao, or Lookman etc.

Question for people who want to sell Martinelli: Who do you think pays 50-60 million for him?
None of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, Man City, Liverpool, or Chelsea will sign him. Which other club can afford to sign a 60m LW?

  2. Te difference between City, Liverpool and us in the transfer market is those two will go above and beyond what they think they need. We don’t take that extra step. Ultimate that’s the difference maker at the end of the season

  3. Absolutely crackers re Trossard and so typical of this idiotic excuse of a manager we have. Every single signing he has made this summer is questionable to say the very least. Spurs set to sign Eze and we sign another Chelsea second rate cast off for the same money. No more words should be necessary. Arteta is a clueless idiot and the only bigger idiots are those who are employing him.

  4. Look at Liverpool's forward, and they are still pursuing isak, imagine Incase they get him, how will Liverpool lineup look,it will look scary however much it's defence is weak

  5. im fine with trossard signing a new deal. considering all the times hes saved our asses the past 2 seasons. it seems like a silly thing to meltdown over. we can focus on a winger next window if we dont get rodrygo.

  6. Some of the logic used with some of our fanbase is wild. I knew this would happen .. I just knew it.

Same fans will be sat there crying for not starting our up & coming youth players! Absolute joke, these football manager wannabes

  7. Lol the reasons for outrage didn't last very long. Havertz out. This makes way more sense to keep Trossard AND bring someone in (which Ben J has now confirmed)

  8. Flash forward a couple of hours, we find out Havertz might be out for a while with a knee problem, and I suddenly feel a whole lot better knowing that Trossard is still available as an option.

  9. So that guy says we turned our backs on Eze….and thinks that we should now essentially turn our backs on Nwaneri…who is currently at our club…..and has been at our club since a child……and has chosen to stay at our club instead of leaving to get more money….and scored 9 goals as a 17 YEAR OLD…..he thinks we should turn our backs on him to get a player that’s willing to go to spurs? Make it make sense lol.

And to be clear I love Eze and think we should sign him, but the idea that we should turn our backs on one of our own (Nwaneri) that we have raised and developed at hale end just to go get someone else is mad lol. And only calling him an ā€œ18 year oldā€ instead of calling him by his name is wildly disrespectful to Nwaneri and his talent

  10. When I woke up today I still had a feeling that Arsenal will sign another player before the end of the window, (though sadly not Eze). With the news that Havertz has a bad knee injury it almost feels like they have to bring in another attacker now. Some have tried to suggest Isaak, but that seems ridiculous after Liverpool's 110 million quid move was knocked back. It does feel like we now actually need another attacker through the door as opposed to it simply being a desire. Keeping my eye out for a left of field wildcard type signing before the windows slams shut again.

  11. Big up Tom and all Gooners!! Window's been a madness šŸ˜‚ Im hoping, really hoping its not done. 0 sales then increasing Trossard wages…weird af! Glad we got the 3 points at O.T! Bring on Leeds!!

  12. I hear lots of people saying they’d prefer we were more like City in the market. Do they realise if that were the case we’d have sold Saka and Saliba a couple of years ago and we’d be selling Nwaneri and Myles now. Dowman will go on loan in a couple of years and then be sold.

  13. I watch this channel as a nice way to start my day, but I don’t appreciate someone aggressively saying the word ā€œfailureā€ repeatedly. That’s not the tone I want to set for my day. Also, it’s only August, people! Settle down. It’s a little too early in the season to label something a ā€œfailure.ā€

  14. Sometimes I wonder why people watch and follow football. Because it seems like they're unhappy or outright angry more often than not. I have to playing certain video games (FIFA included) because I was just miserable half the time. Prioritize your happiness people.

Speaking of misery, could you ask Arteta who he thinks built the pyramids? No, not the ones in Egypt.

  15. I listen everyday, but good lord. I had to turn it off. The entitlement of we didn't get a winger is unreal. A Picasso is now a garage sale painting?? What a load of shite. We upgraded at all positions, finally got the striker, best 6 on the market by a mile. Madueke crossing from the left could be huge. Trossard might have got slight bump and people are melting down. Smh. Take a breath people, good things lie ahead.

  16. I don't know what they are doing at Arsenal. Martin O. should be sold next season. So that means you buy Eze now for the left hand side but with the plan of replacing Martin O.

  17. It is a failure because they didn't locate the problem on the left wing. Every fan including you Tom i saying that we need new winger on the left. Someone more progresive, a skillfull dribbler that can unlock defences..Its a failure because Spurs will get Eze and we got Madueke..Eze can play on the right aswell by the way..

  18. So ive just learned that Kai Havertz has sustained a knee injury that may require surgery absolutely gutted to hear this. Sky Soorts have read out an official club statement and I quote ā€œ Kai havertz has sustained a knee injury the club are waiting for the injury to calm down before assessing wether the next course of action they also stated that Arsenal will look to go back into the market for a cf if the injury is long term. So this is bad news and I can only speculate and say they must feel it’s bad enough of an injury to say they will go back into the market it must be serious for them to add that part of a club statement. This is a massive blow and when I looked at our bench and thought finally we have serious depth and the one position in the squad where we are not truly blessed is cf iam gutted for Kai he has worked extremely hard to get back to fitness and has bulked up considerably to offer us more and to improve his physicality in a World Cup year and a year we were looking at sustaining a real title challenge this is devastating news. There will be loads of people happy with this as they don’t see Kai as the top quality player he is. Our one saving grace is the window is open and active so we can rectify this and get another forward into the club. We were looking for a lw and now we might be looking at a winger who can play cf aswell or we may not be signing a lw and be looking to get another cf to be second fiddle to Gyokeres. We shall see what happens but the fact they put out a statement stating they will go back into the market if needs be to me sounds like they know it’s not good. Arsenal football club must have one of the worst luck when it comes to injuries more than most clubs. The football gods must hate us.

  19. On one hand I’m glad there’s a clear pathway for Nwanieri and Dowman to develop along. They are top talents and if they don’t see a pathway then they’ll leave. On the other, I do think Eze would’ve been excellent for us in the short term and could’ve given the youngsters some guidance.

And now with Kai’s injury. We’re in for a rough start to the season. I don’t feel like it’s likely we’ll sign anyone else but if we do, we’re gonna have to move fast. Things can also change fast in the window so all hope isn’t lost but, I dread going into this season and still being unable to give ourselves the best possible chance to win.

  20. Ah, the drama of the Transfer Season. Guten Morgen Tom!
Shall we try to remember that it took Henry 9 games to score for Arsenal. Let’s give Gyokeres a bit of time.
I do love Martinelli, however, he isn’t the finisher Trossard is. I would hate to see him go, but unfortunately he isn’t pulling his weight.

  21. I think I completely understand what Elliot is saying. And when he is constantly saying about how we sacrificed an Eze transfer for an 18 year old. Granted, that 18 year old is Ethan Nwaneri, but he is not the finished article yet. It will take atleast, if not more, than 2 years for him to start into his prime. Meanwhile we are ready to sacrifice the now moment for someone for the future! We did have our arm twisted a bit by Nwaneris agency, and its affected what is now an incomplete transfer window. If oush comes to shove, what would we do? After signing Nwaneri, I will go for the Eze signing right away.
