  1. Wow 7years ago?? I remember him coming i was only 11-12 we just won the league a year before and everyone was speaking about the squad he was gonna build because of what he had done with national team and Barcelona god how it failed still shit as a bag of beans now

  2. (Bayern fan)when he was our coach van bommel said one day he took off his underwear and grab his ball told to the players that I have the power thank god he is gone

  3. Wayne Rooney was the big thing before Messi and Ronaldo. Just Remember he is 2nd highest goalscorer and 3rd highest assist leader in EPL history and topscorer of England national team.
He said that he could have scored more only if he was a little selfish and the assist stats proves that. If he wasn't played out of his position (to a central midfielder) he could have broken Shearers record.

He covered every part of the pitch ,could pass ,tackle ,was a clinical finisher ,was highly accurate from long distances and volleys. He was very fast in in prime too.

At a time he was world's best player before Messi and Ronaldo burst on to the scene he isn't given much appreciation apart from man utd fans.

  4. Lot of memes and nonsense about LvG but he coached one of the best teams I've ever seen, Ajax c.1995: van Der Saar, Reiziger, Blind, Rijkaard, F. de Boer, Seedorf, F. George, Davids, R. de Boer, Litmanen, Overmars, Kluivert, Kanu. What a team to watch. Total Football. Pity they have to sell everyone now.

  5. You don't coach great players. You manage them. Imo there's no need to tell a player who's scoring a bag full of goals all the time how to score. You teach them mentality instead.

  6. This is bad micro management. Footballers build habits for split second decisions like those. You need to drill them to get this habit into them. Not tell them to think about it on the pitch. It's impossible to be quick if you have to think.
