  1. Tom, you said that you would put Downan in the squad against United. Over who, may I ask?

The bench would include a gk, 3 defenders, 2 midfielders, 3 forwards,

Even if some players has a knock and would be out for the United, I don't think there would be any space on the bench for Downan.

    It's just my opinion though

  2. Do u think we should change formation to something similar to 22/23 when we played a 4-2-3-1 and got da best out of martinelli and odegarrd where odegarrd was playing as a natural 10 and not a no8

  3. I think you’re gonna see a little surprise, this season.
Saka on the left and Martinelli on the right. Spraying in crosses for gyokeres and havertz.

  4. It's so crazy how some fans think that other opposition fans will sing praise of what we have. They'll always do everything to make us think our manager or player is not good enough, while their respective club ain't doing well rather. Anyway, it is not difficult to identify deluded ppl. Support what you have and stop playing to the turn of the opposition teams….

  5. Watched the record version today ,Lot of talk on Eze nobody is saying who they would leave out , you can’t play him L/w he’s not that player who is going give these crosses for Gyokeres he is attacking player that likes freedom to roam

  6. I'd not swap Nwaneri for an older player. Nwaneri has many great years ahead of him with us, look at how good he is, and he's not even at his peak yet!

  7. I struggle to be worried at all about preseason games where we haven’t even played our best team together. You can’t get any rhythm if you make 10 changes by the 60th min. But these games have been about building fitness and testing out partnerships between specific players on the pitch. If we struggle today with our best team then maybe I’ll be a bit worried but the real test is the PL when the real pressure is there.

  8. Hey Tom a question about our transfer window strategy. Do you think it was wise for us to leave sales till August or is it just the circumstances we find ourselves in with the quality of players we want to sell? I wish we had a policy of selling one and buying a couple then selling again.

  9. George Leigh analysis is great, need him on the show more. Or he should have his own show. Great point about us not getting our number 1 target. Why didn't we go harder after Isak. There was a rumour that he is an Henry fan and would love to wear the number 14! Let's hope Newcastle will keep him after not getting sesko. Also as he said, if we want to win things we may not be able to give youth players such as nwaneri as many minutes in there desired positions. We should be thinking of loaning him out as we did so effectively with Saliba. We need a player that can create something out of nothing such as Eze or Rodrygo.

  10. At 1:25 in. It’s not the fact he plays for Chelsea. It’s the fact that he’s not rated as good enough in my opinion. If Arsenal was signing Palmer or even Neto I would be very happy with that signing!

  11. Brother Tom – Thanks for the show, it’s great therapy for a lot of us. Hopefully we see our new number 14 take off today. Come on you Gooners. Cheers from Florida!

  12. Certain things with our formation/tactics I just don't get. Why are we trying to get more offensive play out of what should have been and is still one of the best defensive midfielders around (Rice), I would gravitate more towards allowing my fullbacks to push up the wings keeping the width whilst having both Rice and now Zubi as that shield in front of Gabby and Saliba, it would allow both the LW and RW to move more narrow for the creative aspects around the box linking up with a further forward AMC.

4-2-3-1 for me all day (can play that formation wide or narrow and still maneuver between the inverts and traditional play styles even in this formation).

  13. Tom seems like a decent guy I like how he let a bunch of different people on with different opinions. Keep doing what you do.. These are the platform that deserve to be pushed up and be at the forefront in terms of Arsenal fans channel representation.

  14. Tom, who would you rather have for left wingers: Martinelli and Trossard or Rodrygo and Reiss Nelson? I'd prefer the latter. Sell both Martinelli and Trossard to fund Rodrygo. What says you?

  15. Hey! I finished before today's match started! Lineup just released and finally it looks like we're actually putting out what could be our starting XI (the full-backs could go either way). Excited to see how they will do. I just want us to put in a good performance today. I can't imagine how bad the fan base will get if we lose or have a similarly-bad-looking performance to the last couple matches (or, heaven forbid, both).

Speaking of heaven, can you ask Arteta what his favorite color was in 1995? Thank you kindly.
