Manchester defender John Stones believes the club can reclaim the title after missing out on a fifth consecutive Premier League crown last season.
The Man City stalwart admitted that it was ‘humbling’ as Pep Guardiola’s side finished third and 13 points adrift of winners Liverpool.
The 31-year-old also spoke of his excitement after City’s summer splurge that has seen them add Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Sverre Nypan and James Trafford to the squad.
That follows the 212m euros spent in January as Guardiola added four more to his squad in City’s push to secure a top-four finish.
Man City get their Premier League season underway away to Wolves on August 16.

i see why he talks about being a couple points behind Arsenal rather than mention being 13 points behind Liverpool
