Mason Mount was written off by many last season, but that might be a big mistake. In this video, I analyze why he could have a breakout year under Ruben Amorim at Manchester United. From his tireless off-the-ball movement to his underrated creativity and pressing intelligence, Mount could be the missing piece in Amorim’s dynamic system. Let’s analyze!

  1. Hey guys, thanks for stopping by. I thought that Mason Mount has shown great promise in the last few games and I am excited to see how he performs for us this season. If you enjoyed this video please don't forget to hit that "like" button. It helps a lot. Cheers!

  2. Are you kidding man !? Mount is proved to be an average player (with appreciation to his professionalalism) wherever he has played. Our club keep repeating the same mistakes every season when buying avarage players for huge amounts!!? (It seems as if the owners are laundering their money with such deals). Also , as a great club, UTD should pick players with best talents and quality THAT fits the style and available group of team players. Just look around in PL and other top leagues and see how other top clubs are consolidating their teams with young proven talented players and at the same time affordable! British media unfortunately never point to such deals as they only focus on certain clubs (most likely this proved that some clubs pay them to talk about players involved in potential transfers to or from those clubs for marketing reasons. Previous reports confirmed this kind of relationb specifically with UTD) .. Also we should never forget that Amorim, despite his previous achievements in less competitive league) needs more years of experience in PL to upgrade his level because from what we have seen, he seems to lack tactical flexibility his counterparts have (like Conte, Tuchel, Allegri besides others in PL), as all have the capability to change their tactics more than once in the same match according to the opponents' plan!. This what makes the PL the best in the world because you may find a team in relegation zone beats other in top 4 ! So, talking about Amorim, he never knows other style than 3-4-3 which is limited tactically as he even doesn't know how to manipulate the plan to adapt to some opponent's style ! Remember when we had lost eadily to Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth, and C.Palace last season because they had simply stopped our WBs by pressing them and our midfield too and so they won ..!!?

  3. On the ball, 8/10 player. Off the ball, 6/10. Injury prone 9/10. This is the problem with him. He needs a run of 10 games to be at his best, but the way he plays, his bound to get a muscle injury. He is a clever player and less frustrating than Bruno.

  4. The unsung hero…I must admit because of his injuries he wouldn't make it. But his commitment and focus when his called upon is just amazing. I have grown to like him in the first team..great analysis scarlet 🔥🔥

  5. A fit Mason to me is like Bruno, but the quiet version, his work rate, technique, defence all at per with Bruno, only difference is that Mason does it quietly u barely notice, while Bruno, is mr Hollywood, who is all showy.

    Same same qualities though

  6. If we are oing to be honest, Mason Mount in preseason has been playing better than Bruno Fernandes. He takes care of the ball and in this system keeping possession is paramount. He can play in the #10 and do a job in the #8… I think the team is looking real good, and if we sign another combative midfielder that can take care of the ball, I don't see no reason this team can't be a real dark horse to challenge for top honors.

  7. The issue with Mount is can he stay fit.He is loved by Amorim but still we signed 2 players in Mbeumo and Cunha who play in his position in addition to Amad and Zirkzee who could play there too.Hope he can come close to what he was at Chelsea.

  8. he is getting from me … been saying this since last year we came back , he is the only one that can share the protagonism with bruno on that team

  9. Careful man, The haters "supposed supporters" might jump on your back for this😂There are those out there that only look to spew negativity and shot down any semblance of a positive story

  10. If he stays fit he will be one of the sixteen players we need for every game who are of the quality required to compete with Liverpool, City ,Arsenal etc. We can’t afford a significant drop in standard when we need to make a change. We need the bench to consist of players who are unlucky not to start.

  11. This is also why Amorim has praised Amount since day one, despite being injured at the time. If he manages to stay fit, then he is going to be a key player for Amorim.
