I remember Philips being outstanding in the last Euros and I've seen him play with leeds a couple of times. I'm not sure if he's still as good after being snubbed by Pep. However Juve has a reputation, or atleast used to have a reputation for rediscovering washed up players. Anyway we still need more man power if we're gonna challenge for the title.
The medical team of Juve needs to try to evaluate how likely is Chiesa to continue being plagued by injuries in order for the team to decide what to do with him
Chiesa worries me. I feel he and his agent need some kind of guarantee that he isn’t going to be stuck playing this 3-5-2 and if Juve aren’t giving that to him, then even after Allegri they must be thinking Conte next. That’s how my mind works. Unless phillips is our only option, no thank you!
We need an alternative to locatelli. It is needed imo. Even playing once a week he would provide some flexibility. On a loan, it would be a good move.
I feel like Phillips can be a good version of what Paredes was meant to be, the only issue is match fitness and if we wanted to make it permanent the wages are crazy
At this point I think Vlahovic is not any better than Milik or Kean. I agree, his salary is not matching his performance
Phillips would be a fantastic signing.
To be honest, if I was Chiesa, I would have left Juventus last season. He is declining under Allegri, literally wasting his potential and career.
