Both play on same position but are different players
De jong is better to control the game and casado is the ball winner . They should be played according to need of the match , no one is a starter in Flick's team

Casado is new, but he has shown so much class for a newly promoted CDM.

Casado defends better and attacks better, he helps the attack with his long passes, he sees runs attackers make. De Jong holds the ball longer but makes only short passes. So I'll take Casado.
