Guus Hiddink, who steered the Socceroos to the knockout stage of a FIFA World Cup for the first time in Australian football history, has reunited with current coach Graham Arnold on the eve of the team’s centenary. Hiddink said Arnold showed “guts” during his decision to bring on substitute goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne to help Australia qualify for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
