Sofie i think problem why we are where we are is that we focus on rivlas and banter too much we need to focus on winning a cup i think team is like that too, except Victor he seems one trak minded
I hope to God it’s not a competition between Havertz and Gyorkerez! That would mean the signing wasn’t worth it
I am not concerned about anything at all. Flying around Asia during a publicity circus, without all of the familiar preparation routines, etc., is never going to lead to the best performance. The players and Arteta aren't going to judge this with any crazy emotions. We shouldn't either.
No confidence in this manager, boring lethargic keepball, regardless how much we spend, Arteta only knows one way, like a broken record, 🤬
I'm with you Sophie. Maetienlli is the one to sell. I've run out of patience with who he could be/once was, we need somebody who can hit the ground running on LW now!!
I would consider a healthy Jesus more capable competition for Gyorkerez……if only they could get him back to pre-WC level.
The dilemma is that Jesus will leave and he was not a striker, Havertz is not s striker and totally useless and we only have one striker Gyökeres. No team can have any higher aspirations with only one striker in the squad.
Let that sink in, 6 years and soon 1bn spent later and we have ONE striker.
Saw 2 different things. We went long over the press 1st half. Against low block we tried to play within the width of 18y rather than just crossing. These were two thing we didn’t do last year. The 1st one in particular is what Scousers do.
Gyokeres is going to need food😂😂😂…fun_ny!
I was medium-rare listening and on boarding with your guest, until he joined a universe where your goalkeeper was the best in the premier league (insert Ancelotti's eyebrow right there), and then Arsenal are going to win the league with a coach who is copy & pasting things again!
Hands up it's pre-season – not 10 games into the season but Eddie Howe's approach meant his teams would win or lose 4:3, until he got fired, reflected on his methods, learned from others (Simeone @athletico), then came back a better coach with improved defensive perspective.
(Better players + improved approach = better defence & better results)
I think Arteta isn't good enough to learn on the job so even if you spend £500M, the same problems will hold Arsenal back.
Its too early to take any kind of polarity or judgement(s) on Mickey or the team. Its a singular pre-season game.
Mickey must K-N-O-W that this season he delivers a trophy or the chorus for him to go – will be truly deafening!!!
KSE are loyal but not mugs. They are in it for the £££££ and have zero loyalty.
So punish them financially & its game over.
