Diouf looked excellent , but I am really looking forward with optimism to our new midfield 😲 . I am definitely not looking forward to seeing Alvarez's indiscipline in the tackle ( use him as a CB if anywhere ) , Rodriguez's inability to actually make a good tackle due to his poor reactions and lack of pace , Soucek's slow lumbering jogs from box to box or JWP passing sideways and backwards more than getting the ball forward with intent .
Guilherme is not a wing back it would benefit him going out on loan this season
I think people are underestimating KWP , the boy can play , interested in his role
I'll be pissed if Luis Guilherme is judged on playing as a Wing Back. A position that is totally alien to him. I'll be equally as pissed if Potter decides Guilherme doesn't fit in to a 3/5/2 and decides to sell him.
Last season when Guilherme played he looked the best player on the pitch. Fast, direct, skilful, and had a great pass. Playing in his natural position as a Right Winger. My fear is Potter will never play Luis Guilherme in his system, and his days are numbered. The only chance he has is if Bowen is used as a Striker. This I do not want to see.
Good show mate. Happy with this last week – 2 great signings, a win yesterday ( even though it is not against top opposition ) and great performances by youngsters especially that strike from Callum Marshall. More business to be done in this window should set us up nicely.
well done Frankie! the board are hiding behind Potter imo, a lot of fickleness about us these days, He's our manager so just get behind him, and for the non believers look at some of the unemployed managers atmo, Dyche, warnock, Etc, the only tools Potter has are the 1s sitting above him!!

Guilherme don't plat that style, way too much defending for him to look anywhere near his best.
How you doing Frankie was really impressed with the magic man's energy and Performance proper speed merchant and also loved seeing pots and Marshall getting plenty of minutes especially Marshall getting on the score sheet up the Hammers
Panic buy not at the beginning of a window and he was brought in to replace kudus but kudus went before we wanted him to should of kept another season but our poor showing scuppered that
Also believe knife a good is not happy being with us if not get rid and definitely ice cream cone is not Premier League quality we saw last season what happens when players are not happy being with us just upsets the apple cart dressing room extremely detrimental to the club up the Hammers
Irving looks as good as ward prowse but gets overlooked invariably gets a goal so I don't get it definitely deserves more game time
Always rated KWP, great signing , the full back/ wingback situation now looks solid , whatever permutation Potter chooses to use .Doiuf was impressive in that second half he played, decisive, none of this stalling with the ball some players do and get closed down, his first touch was excellent. He has good pace and crossing ability looked impressive. What worries me, not just in the friendly game yesterday but also last season is watching the team play out from the back when the opposition play a high press…..put it this way we are not the best at doing it. Potter and his coaching staff have really got to work on that. Some teams counteract the high press by the long ball from the goalie ,pack the opposition penalty area , so the runners can be ready for the knock ons from players like Fullkrug , why we don’t adopt that more is surprising.
I wonder if Potts or Orford would look half as good if they played at CB? Guilherme should have been given a chance further forward. This is fine if it’s just to get minutes up, but he’s definitely not a RWB in the future
Still undecided as opposition looked poor and the goal we conceded defenders all looking at the ball and not moving. I want to see us play a team that will compete. We got the win and some positives from the game.

Agree about cornet, like a headless chicken really bad , there were positives like Malik Diouff looked solid with great awareness and will fit in no problem good to go imo , Irving gets stick from some but he has always done his bit when gets the shirt on , Marshall looks ok as back up to Fulkrug as it stands right now but a striker and midfield maestro and a box to box dynamo with pace needed asap . So what I saw yesterday was better than I expected but we are still so far of the top 8 to 10 but I think we will stay up past that not got a clue, C.O.Y. I ,,,, oh yeah GK needed badly Areola still like a statue on crosses never owns the box from free kicks and corners and is like a statue and fodders is like a statue full stop , I have not given up on Guilerme yet right iwill shut up now except to say thanks mate missed the stream but still enjoyed it keep us all posted on your 3 teams during the season Frankie 👍
Guilherme is not a wingback. Played wrong. Can't judge em off of an experimental (I hope) friendly to get the blood flowing. Hope Potter clocks that in and doesn't try keeping him in a potential trampling position. Orford was actually decent. In theory, this should be an experiment to learn from for Potter. Guilherme up front.

Looking most forward to watching AWB again. I’ve said it a million times, but it felt like such a nothing signing. 12 m and a struggling Man U side reject. Couldn’t even fathom the heights he climbed to last season.
