Our CB's need upgrading anyway – Ogbonna and Dawson are the wrong age now and need replacing next year regardless
Aguerd and Zouma are Moyes preferred pairing but in the meantime Kehrer can play with Zouma, and when Aguerd is back we could set up as a 3 (Aguerd-Zouma-Kehrer), and if we can get Szlazai too he could be additional cover/LB??

what is the up about this… silver lining on the whole defneder, and diop situation, is that we might of just signed West Ham centre back pairing for the next number of years going forward… lets face it, Dawson is on last legs, as is ogbonna, so Zouma, Agurd, and Kekrer, with a youngest coming in for the 4th place… exciting time… shame its been like pulling to get their.

If I was centre forward I would punch Rice in the face ..trying to steal one of my goals ..shove off mate….someone told Rice he needs to be scoring more goals so he tried to steal one !!

Will Kehrer need time bedding in? Probably not and if not how does Scamaca and Cornet feel not being used sooner considering we were stale after the City game?

Maybe the view is to bring Kehrer in to play cb until Aguerd or Dawson comes back and then once they do he moves out to left back

We didn't get Nunez, we aren't getting Nunes, maybe we'll get Nones?
I'm quite excited to see a back 5 with these players tbh, we have a new RCB & LCB, both of whom are comfortable on the ball, and can dual as full backs. I thought we played our best football as a 5, now we have players that have the attributes to really make that work.
My only worry is injuries, I keep seeing Zouma limping, and the injury record of Kehrer and Aguerd aren't that good.

Good signing…..you don’t get signed or play for psg if you are not a decent player and also in current German squad and played 20 odd times…… great age and can play a variety of positions…… cannot wait to see him in a back 3 with fully fit zouma and agurd……. We are changing and evolving…. We obviously moving to a back 3 in the future and moving forward and expect future signing to reflect this

What is important is that with him and Cornet we actually have some pace in the team for a nice change.

We have /had to buy. Our squad depleted, tired, no spark, underwhelming. However, we are on target to spend 150 million this summer. Hopefully. Wouldn't you say it's the most underwhelming player addition. For that money all we seem to have done is replaced ordinary players with ordinary players. Doesn't matter though according to Moyes as long as they have the right personality. Btw Great video Gonzo on this subject. I honestly do think Moyes has lost the plot. I do understand that really good players don't want to come to west ham. It will be worse next season with the loss of rice and Bowen. So have we reached our ambition? Are we there? Good to see we have signed Kehrer, but disappointed Nunes going to Wolves as opposed to us. But given Nunes previously refused all, including Wolves, and how we have had deals hijacked, why has Moyes not tried to hijack Nunes, after all he has not yet signed. We really do need to understand the new non gentleman rules, and take the same actions as the other teams, in order to create an equal playing field.

Regards to transfers, the calibre of the player we are after has changed. This increases the competition for them. I think who we after is a major improvement and it is no surprise there's competition.
