i don't like martinez – as an arsenal fan i have lost all respect for him following his over the top antics. i respect that he left arsenal to get regular first team football which would have allowed him to play for his country in the first place, but since then… I didn't know he had it in him to just take things too far sometimes when celebrating. it's one thing to put the goalkeeper award to your crotch and show the fans but a whole other thing to have a dig at mbappe like that (and essentially enable a bunch of hooliganism from argentina fans). that's what i think anyway. how is it possible that he can just get away with something like that. i'll tell you right now that if he was a person of colour, he'd probably get punished. screw martinez.

Goalkeeper can’t risk tackling or even touch opposing players with the ball, so you have to use whatever trick you got. Not everyone can be prime Buffon or Casillas after all. But I do agree that while he’s a player you’d love to have on your team, he’s one you’d absolutely hate to play against and wouldn’t really hold it against them for doing so.

Honestly though bono or livakovic should've got the golden globe, they made WAY more saves than Martinez, kind of like when they gave hope solo the golden glove in the 2015 women's world cup just because they won even though other keepers made a lot more saves than her, but when again his is fifa lol.
He dives all the way, never half asses an attempt and gets in the head of players making them think he knows where they are shooting it.
Looris is a great keeper but doesn't have the arrogance to think he is easily savings a penalty which makes him terrible at penalties.
