In my opinion neuer should have won the Balon d'Or in 2014 the only reason He didn't win was because First he's a Goalkeeper and because He lost to real Madrid in the ucl semi finals wich real Madrid would go on to win and yes it's dumb to compare an Goalkeeper to an striker because both Play on different Positions but CR7 only played good on Club Level He hasn't done anything For His Club He got knocked Out in the groupstage of the World Cup meanwhile neuer played good For both Club and country i mean neuer won everything in the 2013/14 Season except For the German super Cup and the ucl But still He Has won 5 trophies and He won 6 or 7 individual Awards Alone in the Bundesliga and ucl in the 2013/14 Season neuer saved 124 Shots knowing this neuer probably saved Like 300-500 Shots in this Season

As a small time fan of football in germany. i have always liked Manuel Neuer.
I was annoyed of football before and those bad fouls in 2006 wm were too much for a 6 year old kid.
Until schalke won germany s cup in 10/11 i watched little football. But i was super interessted in schalke and how they won. The answer for me? Manuel Neuer!
So instead of being a fan of schalke i was rooting for Neuer seeing him do his best at all times and try to keep schalke going.
When he moved i was sad cause schalke was still somewhat important to me as a team full of dreams. But i lost interest after realising there is no one i could empathize with as much as Neuer. This is also the reason why i actually call myself a Neuer fan and a small time fan cause idc for football nor bayern and not really much for germany.
I cared for Neuer and only Neuer!
Now what do i want to say with all this? (Not like you read the stuff before nor this)
The reason why i can emphasize with him so much is because he has very high functioning adhd and autism! Same as me so i can tell, but less functioning for me.
(High functioning means his conditions improve his abilities into super human territory whilehaving less trouble dealing with its negative side effects)
What does that mean for neuer?
Adhd: his playstyle is agressive and practical at times even impulsive, but commited.
Autism: well thought out strategies to the details If nessecary, but also thinking ahead, higher qualitive needs and perseverance.
Why does every GOAT GK have to come from Bayern man?? Maier, Kahn, now Neuer.
Is it just for me or is the Goat debate for Goalkeepers clear that neuer is the best ?
